I understand Mosco's anger at Blitz. But I also understand Blitz. He hates himself, every picture on his wall of all the people he loves, but his face is scribbled out. He doesn't believe that he deserves love, or that he is loveable, that anyone could love him. His confidence is a mask to hide how damaged he is. Stolas has spent a long time treating him as a play thing, hell when he rescues Blitz in episode 6 he calls him "my impish little plaything" calls him Itty Bitty Imp all the time. Which just reminds Blitz of the class divide between him and Stolas. He blows up relationships. Evidince: Verosika, she still shows some concern for Blitz when he falls out of the van ( and calls him a heart breaking Freak at Ozzies) Stealing he credit card and taking off to max it out on horse back riding lessons, what is that if not an act of self sabbotage? We KNOW Blitz is capable of caring, he got close to Verosika then he BLEW the relationship up in his own face, because at least that is in his control and since in his mind he is unloveable it was only a matter of time before Verosika saw it and dumped him herself. My point is Blitz is dealing with a looooot and he does love Stolas (I believe) He just finds it SOOO hard to let anyone in because he doesn't want to open himself up to being hurt when whoever he let in realizes that (in his mind) he is an unlovable piece of Crap. And what happened at Ozzies confirmed it for him, Stolas hid behind the menu and Blitz took that for shame at being with him, because he is not good enough. Edit to Add a quick rebuttle to : No one should ever treat anyone like that. Stolas kind of started it. He has treated Blitz Poorly, maybe not on purpose, he might just be an oblivious Royal. He made their deal for the book sexual AND transactional, of course Blitz has reservations about his own feelings and has doubts about Stolas. There is a huge power imbalance, which can be a problem, those relationships CAN also work But it requires BLATANT and HONEST communication from both parties. Stolas has never apologized to Blitz for the deal with the book. Of course Blitz feels like their whole relationship is transactional and doesn't take it seriously. He is getting mixed signals, in additon to his other issues. Stolas has ALSO treated BLITZ Badly. THEY BOTH have to Communicate and apologize.

2024-04-22 17:10:25 +0000 UTCStolas is just not used to being in ACTUAL Danger. There are not many in Hell who could harm him or even step to him. However he is currently bound in blessed rope, and he realizes after the phone call "Oh shit... and I in Danger right now?" Which also explains Blitz's reaction at the end "He can be hurt?". Yes theoretically he knows that Stolas can be killed as of the first fight with Striker (that is what the blessing tipped rifle was for) But he as never actually seen stolas harmed in any way. Stolas is an exceptionally powerful demon, not much CAN harm him. The reaction is not entirely out of pocket. Knowing something is possible and seeing it actually happening in front of you are two very different things. He thought Stolas was playing along to get his attention too, which Mosco thought at the beginning and Blitz had no evidence to the contrary until M&M Brought him to the hospital.

2023-05-22 08:55:10 +0000 UTCOne thing I noticed is that, while terse and with no follow-up, in all those text messages, Blitzo asking Stolas to get well soon is the first time *he* initiated the conversation. Everything else was just him giving one, two word responses to Stolas's texts. I think Blitzo is less aromantic and more just royally fucked up. I mean, we met his father...and *something* they haven't shown us yet happened with his sister. He is damaged beyond belief and it's anyone's guess if it's repairable.

2023-05-21 11:49:06 +0000 UTCBlitzø's problem, from what we can gather right now, is that he either doesn't know how to, or is afraid to show genuine compassion or intimacy beyond basic carnal pleasures. Hence why, despite being a great lover, (at least according to Stolas,) he rarely shows the actual "love" part. Hence why he puts as little thought into sentimental or empathetic responses as possible. It's like Moxxie says in his trippy dream sequence in "Truth Seekers", he fears intimacy, yet also craves it. He fears pushing people away more than anything, and so tries to never get to close on an emotional level. And yet by doing so, pushing them away is exactly what happens. Hopefully, we'll get an episode soon going more into detail about it. As for the "He can get hurt?" line, up until now, Stolas has not only been able to handle himself, sometimes to a terrifying degree, but it's been established that nothing can hurt demon royalty except holy weapons, which I imagine are very hard to come by in Hell. It makes sense why Blitzø didn't think he could ever get injured, at least not to that degree. I'm not defending him, by the way, just trying to explain his psyche.
