(If you're not familiar with the game itself, it's sort of a variation of Blind Man's Bluff, played in a swimming pool or other shallow water. The person who is "it" keeps their eyes closed as they try to tag another player, and calls out "Marco" to which the rest of the players all respond "Polo", thus revealing their location by sound. Any connection to the explorer Marco Polo is purely coincidental.)

So I know a lot of fans have loved Scorpia right from her introduction, but it actually took me a long time to come around on her because of how she doesn’t respect Catra’s physical boundaries. I mean yes, Catra is a cute cat, but she’s also a person and you can’t just go around picking people—or any animal—up and squeezing them because you think they’re cute. And she did it more than once, despite Catra’s very obvious negative reaction the first time. Like Catra, I’m also finicky when it comes to physical touch, so I feel for her during those interactions. I would say the same for Mermista with Sea Hawk, but their dynamic is…complicated.
