Oh i had forgotten how … innocent? Cute? (Def funny lol) this was at the beginning. thinking of the journey you were about to embark upon and how much you ended up loving this show is just *insert the :HeartHamish: from discord* lol

I'm so excited for you to experience everything this masterpiece has to offer. 😊 Also, I wish you luck, given how notoriously strict DreamWorks and Universal copyright is.

This show is very fast paced! It's very much comparable to Avatar imo. Just in the general theme and pace. I'm really excited to see you react to the series as a whole :)

Honey

So excited to watch your reactions to this!

I've been watching your youtube stuff for a few months (mainly for TOH) and just wanted you to know that even if She-Ra doesn't draw a lot of people through the Algorithm, it's what got me to sub. As much as I love the show, a lot of the names are REALLY dumb, because their all faithfully taken from the REALLY dumb 80's cartoon while drastically changing just about everything else. Also be warned, the meaning behind Greyskull isn't revealed until the LAST season, so there's a lot of time for your fans to mess with you about that.

Glimmer is voiced by Karen Fukuhara, who is in The Boys, Suicide Squad (bad movie, but still, she's awesome), and a few other things. Love her.

This show is ... inspired by a cartoon in the 1980s. Which was... really goofy. When you get further into the show, maybe toward end of season 1, you should look at some of the 1980s character designs. Hoo boy.

So excited!

Little non-spoilery backstory on the origin of the show, "She-Ra." Back at the dawn of time (the 1980s) there was a really popular show called "He-Man" - primarilly concerned with selling toys of the characters, but that was all cartoons at the time. Anyway, they noticed it didn't really bring in the girl demographic - so they could sell toys to them too - so they did a spin-off of the show called "She-Ra." Flash forward, and the reboot here basically used almost none of the original show beyond names and really *broad* character traits for some of them. Which honestly is fortunate, as the original series was rather...repetitively episodic and as mentioned primarily focused on selling toys.

It's so good to come back to this show after so long. I can safely say that Catra and Bow are still my favorites.

Clearly Grey Skull is the cousin of red Skull's from marvel duh

King Tiran

Oh yeah, dunno if you knew this already, but just in case: The person credited as "Noelle" Stevenson is named Nate Stevenson now. He is the creator of the show, so I though you should now if you ever refer to him :)

I've also been waiting to see what you choose as an intro for this. Always a delight!
