Fundamental exercise for beginners

Many of my patrons are hobbyist painters, they like or want to learn painting and drawing, but they may not have time or money to take professional courses in an art school. They want to learn by themselves but find it hard to start, and my videos on patreon may be too advanced for them to follow.
As a self taught artist, I would like to share how I did the exercises when I was a beginner. In these mini exercises, I will slow down and make everything as simple as possible, and you can follow step by step. Every time I will choose a topic you are interested in, like lighting, composition, posing, coloring, rendering, texture, storytelling... you can also nominate some if you like.
The exercise will be extra rewards for my patrons:
>(Templar tier) PSD file with steps in different layer, and brush set, tool presents
>(Angel & Asura tier )HD, full normal speed process video(without audio).
This time, the exercise is about 1.5hr long, with topic: lighting . If you like, I will keep on making the series.
