The future changelog

Everyone gather around I'm making a post, it's happening. Grab a snack.

Hi, it's been while.

First for some good news. 

These past few weeks I've had practically no work so I've been working on the game basically full time. 

And I'm finally on the play testing stage of the game. Making sure everything works and runs well. While making small changes here and there when needed.

Second. I think at this point it's ok to actually talk about what 0.9 will officially have.

So let's get into it. I'm listing this in order of more important, in my opinion, to less important.

1. Bathroom - wow

2. The scenes rework - I've reworked most of them some are unchanged.

3. The garden path - Idk about that name, but it'll be what happens after spending the night outside the mansion. It's a slight change to how the story happens.

3. An alt ending - This is a general rework to how the "just leave" endings work. It adds 3 maps, 2 new scenes, and a bunch of dialog. I decided to do this as a way to do some worldbuilding without shoehorning it into the main path. I haven't talked or shown anything about this because I like secrets and surprises :) 

4. The mansion maps rework - Objectively a good use of my time nobody can change my mind on this.

5. The gallery - It looks pretty cool.

6. Small changes - Small dialog changes, changing pooping to popping, adding a skip function, more random interactions around the house. Other things... I don't even remember. Just small stuff I did over the last few months.

I think that's it. 

The SFX rework may or may not happen this update. That's going to be another massive time investment so maybe I'll leave for a future update or a small update after 0.9. I'm not sure yet. It's definitely  something that I want to do though, so it'll happen some day.

I've also been working, writing and planning on what'll happen after 0.9. But I'll announce that when this releases. Don't want to promise more stuff when I haven't delivered what I already promised.

So overall I think it's looking pretty good. Ideally the next post will be a release date or at least a good estimate. The steam stuff is still a huge wild card. I really want to use this release to promote the steam page. But if it starts delaying things too much I'll release it without steam and figure that out later. We'll see.

So yeah. I return to my gremlin cave to finish this thing. Goooood byeeeeeeeeee.

It's great to see real progress from these Dev Blogs. Can't wait to see the new areas and world building, unironically the best part of the game (aside from the stone babes).
