PLANTING BY THE MOON - thru end of January

You guys know I plant by the moon and signs, so I thought I might share some of those insights with you, if you'd like to try it too! Obviously you all know the weather where you're at, so plan accordingly. Some may relate to you right now, others may not.

FERTILE SIGNS CONTINUE through Jan. 29 with the moon in the dark phase for below-ground producers thru the 28th. The new moon arrives on Jan. 29 for planting above-grounders.

Capricorn/knees rule Jan. 26-27; Aquarius/legs, Jan. 28-29; and the month concludes with the moon in the light phase and the VERY FERTILE Pisces/feet in force.

Always good to plant or start seeds during FERTILE signs!

Below-grounders are beets, carrots, potatoes, radishes, etc.

Above-grounders are lettuces, tomatoes, peppers, corn, etc.

MAKING CHANGES: The perfect stretch to make changes continues through Jan. 28. The moon is in the dark phase with the signs going out of the body beyond anything that functions - or "below the belt". Specifically, Sagittarius thru one Aquarius day on the 28th.

These days are TOTALLY perfect, but Jan. 29-31 aren't bad with the descending signs continuing thru the feet and the moon in the light phase. By now we know changes, across the spectrum, are doing anything differently from how you are doing it now - like not smoking instead of smoking, or making changes in the garden or home.

Feel free to share what kind of things you're growing!

I love the signs. I can tell hiw I feel as the month goes by. The moon does effect us all. I also like barefooted. I get grounded and I can feel the energy move into mu body. Exciting to learn more and hiw to take care of our bodies the natural way.

Yes, funny you mention that because I've been learning more about the 13 month lunar calendar and the 13 zodiacs! There's a lot to it that makes more sense than the calendar we use now.

Yes that's true, early farmers used a lunar calendar and some still do.if u ever find the time u might read up a little about the Tzolkin,Mayan lunar calendar.I know ur not raising dogs and turkeys for food but u have been growing native crops,it might give u a little different perspective on some things.
