MEMBERS ONLY Vlog - garden update, what I'm growing

I've been busy in the garden, planting more seeds and transplanting some starts that I either grew or picked up from a local organic farm. I can't believe how much the garden and land has changed in just a few weeks time! I love this time of year. It's starting to warm up and seems to be staying warm, so I'm thinking about transplanting my peppers soon. Tomatoes are already in the ground! Hope you enjoy the update. Sorry about the end being cut off a tad short. My camera died!!! Ugh

feed the poison ivy to the goats, it's like candy to them.

I haven’t planted that before. Seems tropical

The Naked Gardener

That’s good to know! Thanks for the tips. I didn’t realize it was one of the plants that took a couple years to grow.

The Naked Gardener

I have never grown rhubarb, so this was my first attempt. Interesting idea growing it in planters!

The Naked Gardener

Last year I grew my peppers in pots and they did much better. I’m going to do it again this year.

The Naked Gardener

It rained this morning so the ground is still wet and soft. I think I’ll have him help me pull some of those plants today. Should come up much easier.

The Naked Gardener

Have you ever planted elephants ears

Your garden is shaping up so nicely. A few random thoughts. Remiving the poison ivy might be a goid jib for your husband. When removing the invasive plants get all the roots. They will resprout. Your lemon tree looks anazing. My ginger is taking off now. Its always good to grow multiple varietes if plants. Each year some varieties thrive more than others. Enjoy the sunshine

Wow! I’m loving how your ginger is taking off! We may have to give it a try in our garden. The last couple years we’ve had pretty good success with our peppers planted in pots! We’re having some 90 degree temps so I’m fine tuning the watering system! Loved the video, hope you were able to get a good dose of Vitamin D!
