You have very healthy looking goats, do you have issues with them eating your plants at all? Another great video. (P.S, its Dave from Music That Will Span Time, I now use my Patreon page to sign in)

We planted some hostas for the first time in our garden and we really are loving them. Of course we don’t have goats to contend with! Such a lovely video. Thanks for sharing. You are so patient with your goats and dogs, I love it!

Geoff

Great idea, thanks. I'll check that plant out.

I never like leaving those in the fiber pots too. I recently picked up some herb starts for my spiral rock garden at a local organic farm, but they were all in coco coir pots. The roots were so embedded in those pots that I had no choice but to leave them in when I planted them in the beds. I hope that they'll do okay, but in the past I also noticed stunted growth when leaving them in fiber pots like that. Fingers crossed they'll be okay.

Another outstanding video you are pure natural beauty of nature love your voice

If the hostas don’t survive the dog or goats I would recommend Canadian Wild Ginger. It a great shade loving plant that’s native to Pennsylvania and deer won’t eat it

Such a wonderful video. I love the simplicity and freedom of your lifestyle. I’m glad you took the plants out of the fiber pots. They never break down as easily as promised and your hosts would have been stunted. You will be amazed at how well the hosts will do in that location. They are trouble free and will grow to nicely cover the deck footings. Again. I love the format of these videos
