MEMBERS ONLY Vlog - Changes in the garden and for the new year

Sharing the loss we had on the homestead, and my garden plans for next year. Also wanted to share with you some of the other projects I'm considering, and I'm also trying to do a major "clean out" of some of the things in my life as I head into the new year.

MEMBERS ONLY Vlog - Changes in the garden and for the new year

So sorry to hear about your wife. I’m sure that has been very difficult. Glad the teas are helping you get through it! As for the coop, the wire we have up has been working, but the poor chicken that was locked out of the coop all night is how she was taken. We normally count heads when we tuck them in for the night but failed to do it that time. That one was on us! I still feel awful about it. She was such a great hen!!

So glad you share the same sentiment on the tree, and I agree, I need to take another look at everything I’m doing and figure out what needs to go! Thanks for sharing your garden views and approach with me. I always enjoy what you have to say!

So much enjoyed this video this week! You always seem to hit on things that I am struggling with or trying to figure out. I agree with Dennis and love the video chats. As I have shared with you about my wife's declining health condition, does not leave me much time to try anything but your delicious teas! They help me through this crazy journey I am on and trying to stay focused on her care and needs, it is gotten so much harder since she is now non-verbal and is sleeping more or napping, eating less and taking less fluids. So much for my journey; so sorry to hear about your loss this past week, you may have to leave put a stronger double charged line around the chicken coop at night to help ward off the preditors for a while. Once they gain access they will continue to attempt returning. Prayers to you and your family.

I always enjoy your video chats. It’s like meeting up with a friend. A couple of things. Don’t have too many irons in the fire. Choose the things you enjoy the most and are the best at. If you spread yourself too thinly you won’t succeed at anything We always have a live tree. I like supporting the local family tree farms. The families always tend the land well. I don’t like artificial trees. They are all produced in foreign lands and the materials aren’t recyclable. A live tree always returns to the land Each year I evaluate the successes and failures in my garden. I maintain the practices that succeeded and investigate the things that went wrong and tweak things for the next year. I rarely make major changes. I always expect successes and disappointments each season. That’s the way of the garden I hope you stay well. I always enjoy your enthusiasm and I consider you a gardening friend
