When I left the desert 🌵 for the green lands of the Midwest

It was two years ago that I left Arizona to return to the Midwest. After several years living in the desert, I didn’t realize how much I’d miss the greenery here, being surrounded by lush trees 🌳 and grass. I missed growing a garden and felt ready to start our journey building a homestead and organic food forest. I sometimes miss the beautiful mountains of the desert and the daily sunshine, the amazing hikes and early mornings soaking in some vitamin d. But I couldn’t be happier being back in the Midwest. This is where my heart is 💛 You never know where your journey can take you. What are all the wild experiences and adventures your journey has led you on?

Love this photo of you and your gorgeous tan skin. Nothing like getting out in the sun and soaking up some rays!

Just signed up! Going to copy and paste from my previous comment again. Is there any way I can upload more than one picture to my profile? PASTE: Love this video and agree with you. You ever watched any of Eric Bergs videos here on YouTube? I'm very into nutrition and health. For example my breakfast: 2 tablespoons MCT oil, 3 organic eggs with a clove of fresh garlic pressed on top and drizzled with olive oil along with a shot of braggs vinegar, fresh pressed ginger and a half a lemon squeezed... 2 hours later a whey protein shake and homemade sauerkraut... The tryptophan in the protein gets converted to serotonin by the friendly bacteria from the sauerkraut (probiotics)... Homemade sauerkraut has FAR more strains of healthy bacteria than yogurt or a probiotic pill... I wish I could have a lifestyle closer to yours but Frankiie, my wife and I live here in Rustburg, VA. Have a nice home paid off... It seems out of reach to get where you're at....My wife is going to go ballistic when I tell her I signed up as a patron. She knows I watch you almost every day but is a but jealous of your breathtaking beauty!

Wow, what a journey! I loved being on the big island of Hawaii. The lifestyle and land was amazing. Sounds like you learned a lot about permaculture and farming. If you have any advice for me, please send it over! ✌️

So nice to be close to the ocean!

I did an undergrad major as premedicine, then before appying to med school I spent a year on the Big Island of Hawaii living on small farms and fell in love with the life. Then internships on permaculture orchards in norther california then a masters in sustainable agriculture, now in charge of irrigation for citrus orchards. never did apply to med school

Stunning photograph! I could do without the heat and humidity here on the Georgia coast, but I could never leave the Salt Life. It’s home.

Oh my! That sounds amazing! What an experience getting to see the migration of whales. I loved being in the Pacific NW. I've been there several times, once in Seattle and explored the entire state of Washington and loved it. Dense forest, mountains, and beautiful lands up there. The other was through Northern Cali, in the Redwoods and up through Oregon. I can't wait to go back. Thanks for sharing!!

Beautiful and always classy. I understand about the enjoyment of watching and being part of nature. I’ve lived by the ocean and from our living room windows watched the migration of the whales up the Calif coast as well as the Orcas in the Puget Sound when I lived on an island above Seattle. The garden is part of all of that, both for the amazement of nature’s ability to supply us food from the smallest of seeds as well as the beauty of the animals passing thru. As always, thanks for sharing

It is absolutely beautiful out West. I definitely miss parts of it, and can’t wait to visit again.

I like that but I’m in a neighboring state and it’s even move beautiful here than back home. It’s awesome that you could find such peace moving back to the Midwest and for that I am happy for you. I love following your journey and tips when they come about. Please don’t ever stop!!!🥰🥰🥰

Thank you!

This photo was taken in the backyard of my home when we lived in AZ. Right behind us were mountains that you can't see here, that I'd hike just about every other day. It was amazing, and I do miss elements of it. I'll definitely be back to visit, but am so happy to be living here. So much better for gardening! Love hearing about your adventures. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like many of those are unforgettable moments.

Thank you so much! I loved soaking up the morning sun out there.

It is so true about what they say home is where the heart is

I think with all of us there’s something about where we grew up that draws us home. I spent college years in northern Vermont but returned to Connecticut. Vermont is awesome but Connecticut is better for gardening I hope I can respectfully say that’s a beautiful picture of you. It encapsulates your getting health and strength from the sun. I don’t understand how anyone could consider that picture lewd or inappropriate I admire your courage and fortitude

Well thank you for sharing your experiences. Everywhere has it's own characteristics that make it unique and uniquely beautiful. But ultimately we know where we really feel at home. I'm guessing the nude you've posted is a souvenir of your time in AZ. FWIW I do think it's very sexy. But apart from some YouTube unfriendly side boob and part of your gluteal cleavage, it's not showing anything which is traditionally considered naughty. Hmm . . . to debate technical terms, does this count as implied nude, or demure nude or art nude? Anyway . . . You ask about wild experiences & adventures. Well, off of the top of my head, I've made one parachute jump, walked in the Lake District and seen with my own eyes the foothills of the Hindu Kush. I've also, on one occasion, found myself at 6am drinking coffee with two naked lesbians . . .
