MEMBERS ONLY Vlog - Greenhouse moved, shocking comments

Another long one! I didn't intend for it to be, but I had so much to share. In this video, I talk to you from my newly moved greenhouse, share with you some of the shocking comments I get from viewers, I talk more about why my channel is called The Naked Gardener and my thumbnails. I also share my upcoming plans for the homestead, and a personal project I've been working on.

Thank you so much. It’s such a fun catchy name, so I’m glad it brought you here. ✌️💛

The Naked Gardener

Thanks for your channel. You keep things fun and classy while sharing the different ways of gardening and the infrastructure to independently get there. I agree the name was the hook that got me to check it out at first and there's nothing wrong with that. Please ignore those who might be rude or condescending and know the majority of your continuous subscribers are here for the information and health benifits. All the best to you and your husband.

Thank you for that. I’d love to share more about the herbs I’m harvesting and ones I’m learning more about. 🌱

The Naked Gardener

I think many of us watch to live vicariously thru you. We may not have a secluded property where we can experience gardening naked ourselves and it’s refreshing even to watch someone else in that situation. I still don’t understand the men of culture reference. Anyway, some other ideas, I’d like to see you identify more of the plants you are harvesting (herbs mainly) and show how you prepare them as well. I appreciate your bravery in putting up with the mucky side of the internet in order to get the idea of naked gardening - in all aspects- across.

That’s great! It’s such an amazing experience. Glad you enjoyed it

The Naked Gardener

I hope I’m not over messaging but I wanted to say that early this morning I took the plunge. The neighbors away on vacation I took everything off and did some harvesting and weeding. What an awesome experience. The sensation of being one with my garden and nature was so natural and overwhelming. Now I fully understand you

Dennis

Thanks! I will take any of those lovely descriptive words of my channel than porn lol. Haven’t googled that, but now I’m curious.

The Naked Gardener

I agree! I can’t wait to get rid of the railing. I think it’ll be so much better. I hadn’t considered laying down brick first. We’ll consider that, thanks. The door is a great idea too.

The Naked Gardener

Neat vlog. Good luck with homestead changes. Kinda neat that you're reusing the old greenhouse foundations to patch your driveway. Thank you sharing some of your comments. Oh dear. Glad you've developed a thicker skin over them, very sorry you've had too. A random thought, if some people think what you show on YouTube, especially your thumbnails is porn . . . well, fun, sexy, naughty, artistic, any, or all, of these words could (IMHO) be used to describe what you show in your videos/thumbnails. But porn? Nahhh. Oh, and another random thought; that rooster. Did you at one point consider Googling coq-au-vin?

You will like the deck so much better with railing gone. It will feel open and have a much better view! For the lattice replacement you could level the ground, then place some type of bricks at the bottom so the cedar does not contact the soil directly. Then go ahead with the horizontal placement of the cedar planks. Maybe leave a door way into that space under the deck for storage of a ladder or whatever.

Great advice. I've planted some a little too close, so I'm learning that more space is best. I'm also in zone 6.....6a

The Naked Gardener

How funny! I have heard that the male goats stink really bad. I was mainly looking for females, but a family is trying to find a good home for their small herd of four goats (3 female, 1 fixed male), so we're considering that. Just not so sure about getting a male though because of the stinky smell, and I heard they can be more aggressive.

The Naked Gardener

Hello watch the vid one of best yet we are all the same man for for man woman for woman so why are some people like that they are i have enjoy the 2 years and god willing will enjoy a other years to come when you get these goats are u getting a male with them you do know that a male goat stinks and i mean stinks and do not let people like that get to you are million times better stay safe stay happy

I’d be more than happy to share what I’ve learned. Gardening knowledge is meant to be shared. I’m in zone 6 so find your zone and compare. My first rule which I often break is not to crowd plants. Give plenty of space. I succession plant and yesterday I direct sowed bush beans, zucchini, yellow squash, beets, carrots and cucumbers. They will take 2 weeks longer to mature than the seed packets say due to decreasing daylight but I’m sure I will get a great harvest. I hope these ideas help. I’ve got lots more. If you have question please ask me.

You know, it’s funny because even when I used to live in a suburb, I also would go outside in the nude to get my morning sun. I definitely didn’t walk around like that, but I did lay to catch some rays. When I lived in AZ, I was also in a suburb, but there were walls as fences and so I’d venture out into my backyard and do qigong and yoga that way too. I suppose I was never all that concerned about other people seeing me because to me a body is a body and we all have them! But I certainly do enjoy the full freedom I have here. It does help having the privacy. Thanks!! 💛

The Naked Gardener

Hahaha!! I enjoyed this! And if so true. Thank you for that. ✌️

The Naked Gardener

It certainly does help having a secluded part of land. It’s such an amazing feeling, getting outside naked, especially in the early morning. I’m definitely still learning in the garden, so if you have any tips of what’s worked well for you, please share! Thanks

The Naked Gardener

I really enjoyed your discussion today and especially your perspectives on being the naked gardener and managing your youtube channel. I would love to be a naturist and be unclothed in my outdoor activities and so envy you that you can do so. Sadly my suburban location and mid-Canada climate preclude me from enjoying the sun on total skin except for the very rare day in the summer when the neighbours are not home. I am glad you can get past the naysayers and negative/insulting comments and can be comfortable in what you are doing and what you show on the net. Kudos to you, m'lady. I look forward to seeing all the improvements pm on the homestead that you are planning. Keep on carrying on! 👍🤗

naked, is not the same as being nude. naked is like the bare essentials of, or without extras. A printing press uses a stripper and it does not mean a person cleaning the press in the buff. The Naked Archeologist does not run around digging in his birthday suit. The naked chef is not creating dishes whilst streaking around the kitchen. The people who are surprised to see that you are not naked in the garden might be the same people who would also complain that "Red Bull" did not give them wings. If some complain, let them, consider it free advertisement.

I always enjoy your talks. You are so genuine. First I m glad it appears your bout with poison ivy is over. Don’t let the online personalities ruin your life. Social media brings out the worst in people. You can’t please everyone so you have to please yourself. You are always totally classy. There is nothing wrong with what you show. It’s part if your lifestyle and it should be considered totally natural and normal. There is nothing better than being out in the garden in the early morning enjoying the sun on your skin. I don’t have the privacy in my garden that you do so I just go shirtless. If I had the total privacy would I go totally natural? Probably. It must be amazing. I’ve gardened for many years. Totally naturally. It does produce great results and it’s amazing how the pests and beneficial interact. As you progress you will learn more from the failures than the successes Keep up the good work and the enthusiasm. Again, don’t let people get to you
