Those were older videos that were housed on YouTube, but had to be removed once YouTube started to censor my videos and it effected my entire channel. I now only share my Patreon member videos through Vimeo, to avoid the censorship.

Hi, I notice this video says members only vlog 22, where the rest of the vlogs (1-21) be watched? Are they on YouTube?

Are you referring to this member video in particular? All of my Patreon videos are uploaded to YouTube, but as ‘unlisted’, so that they are not viewed publicly by all, only for my members who can access it through Patreon. If you click to watch the video, you’ll be able to see it.

The Naked Gardener

you said the video isn't on youtube but it's uploaded unlisted, so disappointing

Normally I make my own sprays for bugs using the JADAM method, but because of the poison ivy outbreak I bought Arber solutions for insects. They’re absolutely chemical free, organic and doesn’t harm other beneficials. It’s my first time trying it so I’ll let you know how it goes. And I’m in my 40s so I hope I “grow out of it” soon lol!! It’d be nice not to have to worry about bad outbreaks like this again, especially since we have so much of it on our property.

I had mixed feeling about starting the cucs early too, but heard others have success using the peat pots. It didn’t do well for me so I’m direct sowing them again next season. You live and you learn! I had been using a diluted white vinegar mix for the poison ivy plants but I’ll try it undiluted. Thanks!

The Naked Gardener

I heard that burning the plant can be toxic on the lungs!

I had 20 bags of black kow delivered from Home Depot, that was a game changer for me not worrying about all this sand down here in Florida

I just bought Trifeca crop control because i'm being attacked by aphids. I didn't want to use that but it's organic but I would pull the poison ivy before i would use any chemicals. I used to get poison ivy when I was younger, so u might grow out of getting it, I had it once all over head to toe& it was a 2wk nightmare. You'll always remember it lolol I live in Florida& started a garden in April using peat pods. Biggest mistake I've made gardening. Almost everything didn't get a good root system. I can't believe they even sell them

I’m so glad your poison ivy is resolved. Be careful. Your skin is going to be hypersensitive for a long time. My weed killing spray is straight vinegar mixed with dish soap and salt. Don’t dilute. Get the stronger cleaning vinegar if you can. Spray every two days. I’ve never had lick with peat pits because the roots don’t easily penetrate them. If you use them rip open the dude of the pit at planting time. Also crops like cucumbers squash watermelons and pumpkins don’t transplant well in general. All things considered the major factor in vegetable growing is light. All of them will suffer without intense light. If you plant in a shadier location a light colored mulch helps. One more thing, high carbon mulches like wood chips tie up soil nitrogen while breaking down. Try adding a nitrogen source to the plants or mix it in that the mulch. I find your videos so entertaining. Don’t get overwhelmed. Gardening is a learning experience and above all is a relaxing outlet Stay well

Living in N Ala we deal with poison ivy, oak and sumacs. I have found that using a weed dragon it burns off the oils and foliage... have to mindful of wind and drift. But after burning the plant we can then dig it up with no issue. Take care
