Redemption Keep News

This will be a hard one...

Redemptions Keep is like, the one game I wanna truely make, the one I always imagined since years of planning and working to a bigger goal... Sadly though I think I took a few misteps, lost a bit of myself in ambitions one could say... I started to early with that project to be honest, I honed my skills in each field since I started and made much progress, but the game stands on a very weak foundation sadly.

So with a heavy heart, Redemption Keep as it is will come to a pause, at least the way you all know it at the moment. I've been working together with a few people rethinking and reinventing the idea behind it, wanting to open more things, but the only way to achieve what I want is to rework the entire game.

Some of you already know or even played Monster RPG in the past, a really early try on some pixel graphics and stuff, and with new partners on board it will probably feel like a mix of that one, with town of redemption, and the story and basic gameplay of Redemptions Keep.

I am still at a point in my privat life at the moment where I am hella busy, and try to put a lot of time still into these games, but fact is, end of this year/start of next year, I am through with all of that and can fully concentrate on these games again, and it will all be bigger and faster again ^^

Developing the base structure and sprites of that game will take a while and I need to redraw many of the known characters too but it's all to make the game that will go down in history...

Honestly I was also not sure about this until a week ago, but with all these bans and stuff for adult content It got really hard to carry two games at once.

Anyways... The last Redemptions Keep cheat build will soon become public for everyone to enjoy while a bunch of the texts and scenes and enemies will be carried over to the new reworked version, all drawn, and with reworked texts.

This is all with a heavy heart, and I thank everyone for supporting me through the development of my gamemaking journey. I hope laws wont make it even harder on creators of these kind of games, I will just try to develop and get through with my ambitions ^^.

Sorry for those that are only here because of Redemptions Keep, it will take quite a while to get to the first playable Demo.

Again a heartfelt apology to those that were only waiting on an Redemptions Keep update.

Town of Redemptions will continue development, as a project to also increase my knowledge and skills, with me learning more about drawing and writing as well as programming, so no worries about that game.

That was all a bunch of text and I hope not to loose to many of you with this change, but this is the way I will chose to make something truely remarkable in the future ^^
