Chapter 62: Planet Red Mountain

Although Xavier was quite fond of Planet Red Mountain, choosing a specific planet still required a detailed survey to confirm.

Leaving the base of the people of Planet Phydia, Xavier instantly teleported to Planet Red Mountain, located in the northwestern corner of the Eastern Galaxy.

Situated in the northwest of the Eastern Galaxy and very close to the center of the Milky Way, the journey to Planet Red Mountain necessitated dozens of warps. Fortunately, with Xavier's power having advanced by leaps and bounds, and his spatial abilities undergoing a qualitative leap, what previously required ten instant transmissions, now only two or three sufficed.

After several warps, Xavier's figure vanished from the Northern Galaxy and reappeared in the distant sector of the Eastern Galaxy, which was under the jurisdiction of the Eastern Kai.

In the deep and dark expanse of space, where young stars burned fiercely, a slender, sky-blue planet orbited its age-old, elongated path as usual, shining brightly like a dazzling pearl, emitting a soft, luminous glow...

That was Planet Red Mountain!

Not far away, another planet, several times larger and of an icy blue color, orbited around Planet Red Mountain. This was Planet Mesan, part of the Red Mountain binary system. Though larger in size, its mass was less than that of Planet Red Mountain, resulting in the peculiar scene of a large and small planet orbiting together, with the center of gravity unusually close to the smaller planet.

Wrapped in the force of space, Xavier's body lingered briefly in the cosmos before he headed towards Planet Red Mountain.

Piercing through the clear blue atmosphere, an endless expanse of sky-blue ocean appeared before his eyes.

A breeze stirred the surface, creating delicate ripples, and schools of fish formed brown ribbons in the ocean, while a giant sea creature leaped from the water, opening its gaping maw... With a splash, it fell back into the sea, causing a huge wave several tens of meters high, abruptly shattering the ocean's calm.

"12 times Earth's gravity, slightly more than that of Planet Vegeta!" Xavier noted.

Hovering steadily in the air, he breathed in the moist air of Planet Red Mountain, which carried a refreshing scent.

Whoosh—

Suddenly accelerating, a bright streak of light flashed by, like a startled swan crossing the sky, leaving behind a faint trail that quickly vanished on the horizon.

"The land is just ahead." Xavier noted with a hint of joy as he looked towards the fading trail ahead.

Crossing the wide coastline, he continued towards the mainland where rolling hills gradually rose, the geology shifting from hillocks to basins, and from basins to plateaus, with the scenery changing magnificently.

In the dense forests, lush pines and cypresses thrived, and mountains rose steeply. Among the paths and streams, various wild animals darted through the woods...

Hovering above a remarkable peak, Xavier gazed upon the pristine natural scenery before him, thinking inwardly, "Planet Red Mountain's climate and landscapes are quite similar to those of Planet Vegeta. With just a bit of modification, it could easily accommodate the Saiyan race."

According to the simulations run by the people of Planet Phydia, the climatic conditions of Planet Red Mountain remain fairly stable throughout the year, a result of the consistent interactions between its rotation, the binary star rotation, and its orbit around the sun.

Continuing to fly along the planet's equator, Xavier grew increasingly pleased with this planet.

Looking up at the sky, a bright, blue celestial body hung overhead. With an instant transmission, Xavier then moved to the nearby companion planet, "Planet Mesan."

On Planet Mesan, Xavier encountered a different landscape. The dominant icy blue hues of the terrain, where unseen microorganisms tinted the mountains and oceans a snowy blue, made even the leaves in the continuous forests lean towards an icy shade.

The ice-blue leaves shimmered under the sunlight, radiating a fairy-tale charm that was indescribably beautiful.

"This scenery is truly mesmerizing!" Xavier exclaimed, astonished by the view before him.

Before long, he entered the human civilization of Planet Mesan and met the human inhabitants there. These humans looked almost identical to Earth's humans, except their eyes and hair were a vibrant green, and between their eyebrows, they sported a crystal the size of a mung bean, radiating a strong essence of life.

"The concentration of life force in a crystal!" Surprised, Xavier had not expected the humans of Planet Mesan to have developed such a unique civilizational existence and way of life.

He knew well that when a civilization’s traits are too concentrated, it becomes easy to pinpoint their vulnerabilities, much like the tails of the Saiyans, which are both a strength and a weakness.

After briefly reflecting on this, Xavier put those thoughts aside and proceeded to the city where the people of Planet Mesan resided. It was a modestly sized town, with walls built sturdy from earth and stone, encircling a quaint and beautiful homeland.

The architecture of the Planet Mesan humans was very rustic, featuring bamboo houses, wooden huts, and uniquely designed small buildings that had an ancient vibe yet were equipped with modern tools.

"The level of civilization is still in the electrical era, very much like Earth in previous times," Xavier observed the familiar scene with a deep sense of nostalgia, finding everything refreshingly new.

After spending some time on the twin stars of Planet Red Mountain and gaining a thorough understanding of the conditions there, Xavier decided to explore three additional planets. First on his list was Planet Tundra, also located within the Eastern Galaxy.

Planet Tundra was a relatively primitive and wild planet. Despite its advanced age, it hadn't developed any significant civilizations. The reason it was considered a potential candidate was due to the lack of major powers in the vast area surrounding it, which was primarily composed of low to mid-level planets.

However, after witnessing the landscapes of Planet Red Mountain, Xavier's interest in Planet Tundra waned somewhat. In the following days, he visited Planet Serene and Planet Dokara, neither of which fully satisfied him. After much contemplation, he ultimately decided to select Planet Red Mountain in the Eastern Galaxy as the new refuge for the Saiyans.

...

That night, Xavier gathered Adriel and others, personally escorting them to Planet Red Mountain.

Adriel and his companions were quickly captivated by the scenic beauty of the twin stars, expressing great satisfaction with Xavier’s choice of planet.

"If it weren't for the gravity being slightly stronger than on Planet Vegeta, and the scenery being a bit more stunning, I might have thought I was still on Planet Vegeta," Rebecca remarked in surprise, very pleased with the pristine natural beauty of Planet Red Mountain.

Adriel chuckled, "The distribution of power here is also quite favorable. The surrounding sectors, mostly comprised of mid and low-level planets, have few high-level planets, and remarkably, no external forces have interfered here. It’s perfectly suited for the Saiyans to thrive and multiply."

"I think it’s mainly because it's close to the center of the Milky Way, where the Galactic Patrol's headquarters is nearby. Plus, some unknown, mysterious rules deter the ambitious from encroaching on this area," Xavier explained with a smile.

The Galactic Center holds a very special status in the Milky Way, different from the hundreds of sectors in the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, and Northwest Galaxies. It is a small area but of great significance, directly under the control of the Grand Kai.

With many powerful warriors under the Grand Kai, ordinary forces dare not intervene, simply lacking the strength to do so.

"By the way, Uncle Adriel, how many Saiyans have we managed to contact so far?"

As the conversation turned serious, Adriel’s expression became solemn, his dark face brightening somewhat with relief: "We’ve already got over three thousand Saiyans ready to follow us. Although most are low-class warriors, their presence ensures the Saiyan bloodline will not vanish."

With Planet Red Mountain as their new refuge, the mood among the Saiyans was noticeably uplifted.

Xavier nodded, "Over three thousand Saiyans is not a small number. As for their potential, it's not something to worry about. We have more advanced training methods and equipment, so natural talent isn’t as crucial as it once was."

Hearing this, Adriel and the others all smiled.
