Chapter 61: Four Planets

120,000 battle power!

This meant that Xavier had now reached the pinnacle of the cosmic hierarchy, belonging to the select few capable of dominating a sector as a supreme expert.

Yet, Xavier's smile quickly faded.

This was not the time for complacency. The situation he faced was still severe. Frieza would likely launch an attack on the Saiyans in about a year's time, and there wasn't much time left.

"It looks like I need to hurry and find a planet to evacuate to!" With this thought flashing through his mind, Xavier quickly turned his attention to the galaxy star map mentioned by the people of Planet Phydia. "I wonder how the Phydia people are doing with the selection. I'll go ask them in a bit!"

After shutting down all the power systems of the gravity training chamber, Xavier stepped outside.

The sky was a murky yellow, and the cold, desolate wind carried sand that pattered against the metal exterior of the gravity chamber, leaving faint traces of wind erosion on the dark gold casing.

Due to the long exposure to harsh environments, the lower parts of the gravity chambers were now buried under yellow sand.

Xavier checked on the conditions of the several gravity chambers and noticed that only Celine’s chamber was still emitting a low hum of the engine.

"She’s still so diligent!" Xavier chuckled softly, thinking Celine wouldn't come out until she had surpassed him.

But this was concerning. Celine was still so young, at a critical stage of growth and development. Xavier didn’t want this adorable little one to suffer any developmental issues later on.

Moreover, training is a process that should progress gradually. Bursting too much also requires a period of settling down to ensure steady and long-term improvement.

Take the Saiyans, for example. A Saiyan's power level might not increase much after each battle, but their foundation solidifies over time. So, when near death, this foundation can suddenly burst forth, leading to a rapid and substantial increase in strength after recovering.

Conversely, without enough accumulated experience, even repeated near-death experiences wouldn't lead to significant improvement. The principle is that although the potential-burst mechanism is triggered at the brink of death, there’s not much to burst forth if the foundation isn't there.

The practice of cultivating Qi continuously on Earth follows a similar principle. Although the methods differ, the underlying concept is the same. Celine has been training in the gravity chamber for so long that her foundation is nearly depleted and now needs some time to settle.

So, Xavier opened the door to Celine's gravity chamber and stepped inside.

The upper training room was bathed in a dark red hue, the air stifling and uncomfortable. In the center, a young and slender girl was sweating profusely, stumbling through various exercises with labored punches, jumps, and dives. Her special fabric training suit had torn into strips under the harsh conditions, barely hanging on her body.

When Xavier reached Celine's side, he was suddenly hit with an immense gravitational force.

"100 times gravity!"

Xavier frowned slightly, internally criticizing Celine's recklessness for clearly exceeding her physical limits, which could easily lead to injury. He then composed himself and walked to the control panel, gradually reducing the gravity until it was completely turned off.

With a sigh of relief, the room returned to normal.

Celine glanced at him, her hair tips soaked with sweat, before collapsing onto the floor, gasping for air heavily.

Xavier handed her a Senzu Bean, feeding it to her with a displeased expression. "Haven’t I told you to measure your strength and not overdo it? Look at you, you almost lost your life!"

"Ugh, I'm only at 90,000 battle power. If I don't push myself like this, I'll never be able to catch up with you!"

Celine's bright eyes looked earnestly at him, her face stubborn.

Xavier was momentarily speechless.

Knowing her competitive spirit, he placed his hand on her head and gave it a vigorous rub until Celine unhappily swatted his hand away. He then spoke in a softer tone, "From now on, you’ll train in the same gravity chamber as me. If I don’t keep an eye on you, you’re likely to overdo it again."

Celine's eyes flickered, possibly thinking of something, and her cheeks flushed slightly.

"Um…"

She nodded shyly in agreement.

Next, Xavier instructed Celine to take a bath. She hesitated for a while before finally heading towards the bathroom, looking around nervously.

"This girl actually knows how to be shy now," Xavier mused silently, shaking his head. However, he soon remembered her slightly maturing body and realized that Celine had grown up. She was no longer the little girl who could freely cling to him.

Shortly after, Celine emerged wearing a bathrobe, her wet hair draped behind her, adding a soft, hazy aura to her youthful figure due to the steam wafting from the bathroom.

After changing into her clothes, Celine naturally moved closer to him. Xavier easily supported her by the shoulders, wrapping one arm around her waist, feeling the soft, delicate sensation of her body against him.

He then initiated Instant Transmission, returning them to their home on Planet Vegeta.

After having lunch with Adriel and his wife and discussing the recent situations on Planet Vegeta, Xavier used his spatial abilities to travel alone to the base of the Planet Phydia people.

More than a year had passed, and Dokra had finally completed the selection of potential evacuation planets.

……

In the main control room of the Planet Phydia spacecraft, Dokra presented the culmination of over a year's research by Phydia scientists to Xavier.

"Lord Xavier, after extensive analysis, we have identified four planets that meet the requirements for evacuation," Dokra said, pointing at the large galactic map displayed on the massive screen. On the sprawling arms of the galaxy displayed, four bright red dots marked the chosen planets.

"These planets are Planet Serene in the Western Galaxy, Planet Dokara in the Southern Galaxy, Planet Red Mountain and Planet Tundra, both in the Eastern Galaxy."

"Tell me more about these planets," Xavier requested seriously.

"Certainly!" Dokra replied, bowing slightly before continuing, "First, Planet Serene is a medium-sized planet on the fringes of the Western Galaxy. It has a landmass that covers 34% of its surface and is home to a low-level civilization known as the Xiru people, who are not very advanced..."

The screen shifted to display a pale blue planet, representing Qingran Star as described by Dokra.

"Planet Dokara, a giant planet in the northern part of the Southern Galaxy, is about 80 times the size of Planet Vegeta. It shows no signs of civilization and remains in a primitive state."

"Planet Red Mountain is located in the northwestern part of the Eastern Galaxy, near the center of the galaxy. It's part of a rare binary planetary system, orbiting a young central star alongside another planet named Planet Mesan ..."

"Planet Tundra, located in the southern region of the Eastern Galaxy..."

Xavier listened attentively, aware of the endless expanse of planets in the universe, much like stars in the sand, especially within the vast Milky Way.

These four planets were selected from countless options by the Phydia people after more than a year of research, considering various factors to ensure they were the best choices.

Xavier was quite pleased with these planets, finding them ideal for the Saiyans' evacuation. Moreover, the surrounding star regions were mostly free of other powerful influences, making them suitable for the Saiyans to recuperate and thrive.

Considering travel distance, Xavier was particularly interested in Dokara Star in the Southern Galaxy and Hongshan Star in the Eastern Galaxy, as these were closest to the central part of the galaxy.

"Dokra, give me more details about Planet Red Mountain," Xavier pondered for a moment before requesting.

"As you command."

The large screen changed to show a sky-blue planet that looked very much like the planet Selma that Xavier had visited before, equally beautiful and captivating.

Not far from Hongshan Star, on its orbital path, appeared another planet, ice-blue in color—Planet Mesan, the companion of Planet Red Mountain.

Dokra continued, "Planet Red Mountain is a small, sky-blue planet with a diameter of 6768 kilometers. Its oceans cover about 67% of its surface, and another portion consists of polar ice caps, leaving only 21% of its landmass suitable for habitation. It’s a pristine planet without any signs of civilization."

"Interestingly, despite its small size, Planet Red Mountain has a gravity about 12 times that of standard gravity, which allows it to attract and orbit together with Planet Mesan, which is several times larger in size."

"Additionally," Dokra paused, "while there are no signs of civilization on Planet Red Mountain, Planet Mesan is inhabited by a human-like species known as the Mesan people, with an average adult height of about 1.7 meters and a lifespan of around 100 years."

"It's considered a low-level planet."

"This is very much like Earth!" Xavier remarked, surprised, contemplating internally.

While all four planets were suitable for evacuation, Xavier found Planet Red Mountain particularly appealing after hearing Dokra’s description.

Not only because of its geographical position but also because of its structural composition.

Choosing Planet Red Mountain as the Saiyans' evacuation site would not only provide a pristine ecological planet but also place them near a civilized human planet, which could potentially aid in the Saiyans' development.
