Chapter 60: 120,000 Power Level!

"This star map is several centuries old, because the people of Planet Phydia have never planned to leave their home planet, so it has always been kept in the central intelligence database..." Dokra explained, his mood always dipping when he thought of his homeworld.

"However, the paths of stars tend to change little, so this map should still be of referential value."

Upon hearing this news, Xavier felt a surge of hope, like a traveler wandering the desert for days who suddenly finds an oasis when there is neither water nor food.

"Dokra, organize a team to filter through this immediately, and notify me as soon as you have results. I will inspect the site personally."

"Yes!"

After giving a few more instructions to Dokra, Xavier left the temporary base of the people of Planet Phydia, taking with him the seven large gravity chambers.

Transporting these devices was an enormous effort; Xavier exerted himself to his limits. Eventually, they had to be moved one by one, and it took a couple of hours to transfer these chambers from the Phydia base to a desolate planet near Planet Vegeta.

Planet Vegeta, as night gradually fell.

Xavier had Adriel summon the members of Adriel's squad.

"Xavier, why have you called us here?"

Upon entering, the loudest of the group, Paradis, shouted out. Followed by Belruk, Alice, Liz, and the others who walked in after him.

Knowing Xavier's mature mindset, Belruk, who no longer saw him as a child, calmly asked, "Xavier, have you called us here for something important?"

Xavier smiled gently as he greeted them, and then nodded, "Yes, it's indeed quite important. I had the people of Planet Phydia create something, and it's ready now. I want to take you to see it; I think you'll really like it after you see it."

"Could it be the gravity room you mentioned before?" Liz asked, puzzled, yet she guessed the answer in an instant.

"Can that gravity room really enhance our power levels?"

Belruk frowned. The few elite warriors hadn't increased their power levels in many years, watching enviously as Adriel and Rebecca's power soared recently.

"Definitely!" Xavier flashed a brilliant smile, showing his white teeth, "But you must be prepared, a sudden increase in power levels can draw unwanted attention."

"That's fine, we just want to try it out and see if it really can increase our power levels, we can use it more after we leave Planet Vegeta."

Xavier nodded, then gestured for everyone to join hands in preparation to initiate Instant Transmission. The members of Adriel's squad, having experienced Instant Transmission several times, smoothly formed a circle.

The next second, Instant Transmission was activated.

……

On the barren planet, yellow sand filled the sky and the climate was capricious and unpredictable. The atmosphere here was very similar to the pale yellow planet where the Phydia temporary base was located, except that the climate on this desolate planet was even more extreme and the temperature much lower.

Lifting their heads and shielding their eyes with their hands, Adriel and the others were somewhat astonished at the scene before them.

Before them stood seven towering structures, majestic like mountains, their dark golden hues radiating a shimmering brilliance. Eight thick steel pincers, like powerful giant arms, deeply penetrated into the soil, anchoring the grand machines firmly to the ground.

In the midst of the yellow sand, this sight was incredibly dominating.

"Xavier, are these the gravity chambers you brought back?" Celine asked, surprised as she ran up to one of the chambers, her small hand touching one of the thick support columns, each of which was about two meters in diameter.

Watching their astonished faces, Xavier then explained the technical parameters of the gravity chambers.

"Xavier, talking about it doesn’t do it justice, let us experience it for ourselves!"

"Alright!"

Opening the door of one of the chambers marked “2,” Adriel and the others followed Xavier inside. The interior was surprisingly spacious, easily accommodating multiple people training simultaneously.

"Uncle Adriel, I'll start with 15 times gravity!" Xavier announced as he adjusted the chamber’s settings. Suddenly, a massive gravitational force weighed down upon them.

The expressions of Adriel and the others shifted slightly. The 15 times gravity didn't pose much of a challenge to them, and they soon adjusted. Belruk said in a deep voice, "Increase the gravity further!"

Without saying much, Xavier continued to ramp up the gravity. As it gradually increased, their faces grew paler and their bodies began to tremble slightly.

"We are now at 25 times gravity!" Xavier announced.

Knowing that 25 times gravity was about the limit that Adriel and the others could handle, he did not push it further. Except for him and Celine, none of the others present, even Adriel with the highest battle power, had surpassed 10,000!

After Xavier turned off the gravity, Belruk exhaled deeply, his body still trembling slightly.

"It's unbelievable, I feel that once we get used to 25 times gravity, our battle power could definitely break 10,000!" Adriel said, visibly shocked. It seemed that the gravity chamber was indeed a treasure for training.

"Uncle Adriel, you guys start with training under 25 times gravity, and we can try higher levels after we leave Planet Vegeta."

"That's right."

On Planet Vegeta, Saiyans with a battle power of 10,000 were rare but not unheard of. Even a high-ranking warrior like Adriel breaking past 10,000 in battle power would only cause a stir and not alarm King Vegeta.

Turning to Celine, who looked eager to try, Xavier smiled and said, "Celine, go ahead, but remember to progress gradually and not to set the gravity too high too quickly—it could impact your growth."

"Got it!" Celine responded with a roll of her eyes and then happily ran up to the controls.

"Next, we'll each train separately. There are living supplies on the lower level of the training room to sustain us for a while."

Then, each of them found their respective gravity chambers, and Xavier himself entered "Chamber 1" to begin his formal training.

In the original story, Goku adapted to 100 times gravity on his way to Namek in just six days, skyrocketing his power level to 90,000! It was a brutal method of tapping into potential, and he nearly lost his life several times during the training. Xavier, however, was not as reckless as Goku; he had ample time and had planned a gradual training regimen.

"Starting with 35 times gravity, set the air pressure to 10 times normal!" Xavier thought, but as the intense gravity took effect, he realized he had miscalculated. His bones cracked, his body felt leaden, and his mobility was severely restricted.

"However... I can still bear it!"

With a determined look in his eyes, Xavier gritted his teeth and persevered. He began his training with simple push-ups and running, gradually adapting to the 35 times gravity environment.

……

Time flies swiftly like an arrow.

Several months have passed...

More than a month after Xavier entered the gravity chamber, Adriel and the others had gradually adapted to 25 times gravity. They then activated training robots to start sparring sessions. Another two months passed, and after repeated injuries and recoveries, their Saiyan potential was finally unleashed, and their power levels each broke through the 10,000 mark.

For them, who were already close to 10,000 in battle power, this breakthrough might not seem significant, but considering their previously stagnant levels, this progress was exceptionally precious, like a new door had been opened.

Afterwards, they ceased their training to stabilize their newly gained power levels. Continuing to push further could potentially arouse the suspicions of King Vegeta and others, something Adriel and his team were keen to avoid.

As time slowly ticked by, Xavier, after adapting to 35 times gravity and resting for a few days, charged towards 40 times gravity.

Meanwhile, more training robots were incorporated into the training sessions, from one to five to ten, and soon the count multiplied, quickly filling the platform with a hundred training robots.

A year later, on the plains of the barren planet, seven towering structures built by civilization stood neatly in a row. Their dark golden exteriors were now coated with a thick layer of yellow sand due to the wind and sun.

Inside one of the gravity chambers, the gravity setting had been pushed to 120 times, and the air pressure adjusted to 30 times normal. The severe conditions turned the room a stifling dark red. In this harsh environment, a young man with black hair was vigorously moving his arms, diving and dodging, continuously practicing basic maneuvers. As his body moved intensely, beads of sweat permeated out like fine rain.

With a whoosh, the gravity engine shut off, and the room immediately returned to normal. Xavier, wiping his face with a wet towel, walked out and headed downstairs.

He soaked in a hot bath, washing away all fatigue in an instant.

The effects of the gravity chamber were evident. It had taken Xavier over a year to adapt to 120 times gravity. Though he hadn't reached Goku's absurd speeds, the intense training had transformed him completely.

"120,000 battle power!"

Feeling the abundant power coursing through his body, a faint smile played on Xavier’s lips.
