Chapter 57: Return to Planet Kulzu
Added 2024-04-30 06:44:08 +0000 UTCIn the blink of an eye, the Phydia civilization’s spacecraft had been traveling through space for a month.
In the silent and profound depths of space, a giant silver-gray spacecraft glided like a long dragon through the vast starry expanse.
In the main control room of the spaceship, the people of Planet Phydia utilized their intelligent systems to continuously search for a suitable planet to dock. They diligently monitored the display screens.
Soon, a pale yellow planet appeared on the screen and was quickly projected onto the large monitor, along with the planet’s data: "Pale yellow rocky solid planet, planetary age 2.2 billion years, diameter 8300 kilometers, severe climate storms, not suitable for long-term life sustenance."
This was a relatively small solid planet, and the planetary atmospheric environment was bizarre and changeable.
"It seems it can only serve as a temporary stopover!" Dokra quickly calculated the spacecraft's energy needs based on the data displayed on the screen.
"Yes, we're now far from Planet Phydia, and the Frieza Force won't be able to find us here anytime soon. Let’s land the ship on that planet to resupply."
The people of Planet Phydia were a highly advanced technological civilization; they could adapt to the bare minimum living conditions using their technology, although unfortunately, such technologies could not be employed on their home planet since Phydia had come under Frieza's scrutiny.
"Once we establish this as our foothold, continue with the design of the gravity training room and get it operational as soon as possible!" The hatch opened, and Xavier entered wearing a brand-new battle suit.
This was the latest design by the people of Planet Phydia, elegant and noble in appearance. The white material clung tightly to the body, adapting in size with bodily movements to minimize hindrance during combat.
"Lord Xavier!"
Dokra respectfully saluted, a trace of joy appearing on his blue-skinned face: "The preliminary design of the gravity training room is complete. Once the spacecraft lands, we can organize scientists to start construction."
"The initial design of the gravity room, in addition to being able to adjust up to 500 times standard gravity, also includes controls for temperature, pressure, and humidity."
Xavier was very pleased with Dokra's arrangements and said happily, "Alright, then I'll leave the matter of the gravity room to you. Hmm, after the spacecraft lands, I'll be leaving temporarily. Be sure to conceal your tracks, and if there's anything, notify me through the communicator."
Xavier estimated that Shakda and the others had been executing their mission on Planet Kulzu for over a month and should have completed their task. He was also planning to return to Planet Vegeta with Celine and the others.
Xavier felt secure enough to leave because he trusted the loyalty of the people of Planet Phydia. More importantly, he had discreetly installed spatial coordinates on the spacecraft, ensuring a fail-safe mechanism that would prevent any rebellion by the Phydia people after his departure.
Of course, Xavier still trusted Dokra and his team. As long as the people of Planet Phydia worked faithfully for him, Xavier would undoubtedly provide them with a splendid future.
"At your command, Lord Xavier!" Dokra responded loudly, his eyes bright with determination.
Xavier nodded and then exited the control room.
Shortly after, as a shadow large enough to obscure the sun cast itself over the area, the gigantic spacecraft, over ten kilometers long, touched down onto the surface. The intense tremors lasted for quite some time, the soft earth and stone flattened by the immense weight, and the ground itself sunk more than ten meters.
Immediately, countless engineering robots swarmed out from the interior of the ship like locusts, beginning construction on the nearby land.
Xavier, standing on an observation deck, watched the bustling activity of the Planet Phydia people and the robots. He nodded in approval, gave Dokra further instructions for the upcoming tasks, and then, to Dokra's astonishment, Xavier disappeared.
On Planet Kulzu, within a pristine jungle.
Upon returning to the mission planet, Xavier carefully sensed the aura of every member of his squad and found that each had improved in combat strength over the month.
With a flash of instant transmission, Xavier appeared next to Celine.
After more than a month, Celine seemed to have matured significantly. She was currently lying on a hammock, sound asleep, her fair, shapely leg dangling carelessly from it...
Perhaps sensing a powerful presence nearing, Celine immediately sprang alert from the hammock, her eyes flashing as she opened them.
"Xavier, you're back..."
Seeing that it was Xavier, Celine exclaimed joyfully, about to leap towards him when she suddenly sensed the energy emanating from him. Her eyes narrowed in confusion, "It's only been a month, how could your combat power have increased so much?"
She remembered that just a month ago, Xavier's combat power was just over 14,500. It seemed impossible that it had increased so significantly!
The sensitivity of sensing ki was far more acute than any energy detector. Although Xavier had tried his best to conceal his power, inevitably some energy would leak out, and this leakage was something he could not hide no matter how much he tried.
Just like a super warrior with a combat power of 10 million, no matter how much he tries to restrain his power, the energy he exhibits will still reach at least 10,000 in combat strength because it's something he simply cannot conceal.
The more powerful the energy, the more that tends to leak out. Of course, this isn't to say that a master can't conceal their Ki completely. There are certainly masters who can completely conceal their presence, like the God of Destruction, Beerus, for instance, who can undoubtedly achieve such stealth, though that level was not yet within Xavier's reach.
"This would be a long story!" Xavier said with a smile as he approached Celine.
His battle with Zarbon seemed to be in his favor, and he even managed to cunningly defeat Zarbon in the end, but the dangers involved were not known to outsiders. If it weren't for his spatial abilities allowing him to escape from the brink of death, and the crucial Senzu Beans he consumed at critical moments, the outcome might have been different.
Xavier was well aware that he had been close to death several times during that fight.
However, the battle with Zarbon was very fruitful. Not only did he gain the allegiance of the people of Planet Phydia, but his combat power had also increased significantly, conservatively estimated to now be around 18,000.
After hearing Xavier's account, Celine was amazed. She hadn't expected such thrilling developments in just a month, and Xavier's power had suddenly surpassed hers by so much.
With a pout and a gleam in her eye, Celine asked, "So does this mean the people of Planet Phydia will soon have the gravity room ready?"
"That's right, if all goes well, it shouldn't take too long."
"Heh, once we get the gravity room, I won't be losing to you!" Celine said with apparent disdain. Among the Saiyans, only Xavier now spurred her competitive spirit; she didn't regard the others highly at all.
"You'll have to work hard then!" Xavier encouraged her. "By the way, how are Shakda and the others doing with their training?"
Getting back to business, Celine became serious: "They've all improved to various degrees over the month. I've slowed down their mission progress a bit and even secretly taught them some secrets about controlling ki. The strongest among them, Shakda, has already reached a power level of 1,300."
Xavier nodded silently; having a power level of 1,300 at just over twelve years old meant that by adulthood, reaching over 3,000 would be well within reach, placing him prominently among mid-level warriors.
