A massive fireball rose majestically into the sky.
Xavier had finally released all the power within him, the act of unleashing every ounce of energy without restraint was a profound thrill, and a faint smile couldn't help but spread across his face.
"14,000... power level!"
Adriel's voice trembled as he stared at the numbers displayed on the scouter, his entire being caught in a daze.
"My God, Xavier's power level is that high? This must be the highest known among the Saiyans to date, surpassing even Prince Vegeta and King Vegeta!"
Alice covered her mouth, her beautiful eyes shining even brighter.
Back when Xavier emerged from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber on Earth, his power level had already reached 12,862. After another year and a half, it had climbed to 14,000.
This was nearly the limit of what old-fashioned energy detectors could measure. Since the average power levels of civilizations across the universe generally stayed below ten thousand, detectors capable of measuring up to twenty thousand were deemed sufficient.
"14,000!"
Paradis was even more excited than Alice upon seeing the data, he roared so loudly it seemed he was venting all the pent-up aggression from his heart.
"14,000 power level, that means Xavier is truly the foremost genius of the Saiyan race!" Belruk muttered to himself, like a ship lost at sea suddenly spotting a lighthouse, his heart violently stirred.
At this moment, he could no longer underestimate this young Saiyan, who was decades younger than himself. Perhaps... he was the true king of the Saiyans! Belruk looked at him with eyes full of fervor, excitement, and thrill.
Seeing that he had fully demonstrated his strength, Xavier mentally retracted his aura.
He descended and lightly touched the ground, walking up to the others: "So, what do you think of my power?"
"Excellent, excellent!"
Adriel was visibly excited. He then remembered Xavier mentioning the legendary Super Saiyan. Previously, he didn’t believe in the ancient legends, considering them mere myths. However, seeing Xavier's god-like demeanor and recalling that he was only nine years old, a speculation couldn't help but arise in his mind.
Could Xavier actually be the legendary Super Saiyan?
If Xavier knew what Adriel was thinking at that moment, he would undoubtedly shake his head and deny it loudly!
He was by no means the legendary Super Saiyan—such a being had not even been born yet! He was merely a step ahead of other Saiyans, still far from becoming a Super Saiyan. Of course, Xavier was confident that he would one day achieve that legendary status.
"Since Xavier has such a high power level, what about you, Celine?" Liz noticed the eager young girl standing beside them.
"Of course, mine is very high too!"
Under the expectant gazes of the elders, Celine, her face flushing slightly with a mix of pride and coyness, slowly ascended.
Whoosh!
Another strong whirlwind kicked up, turning the atmosphere into a tumultuous brew as if stirred by a witch’s spoon.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
The detector started to violently jump again, the numbers rising steadily—
Finally, it settled on "11200."
"11200!"
"Celine also surpassed ten thousand power levels!"
Adriel was shocked and then burst into joy. However, because Celine was not positioned as high as Xavier had been, and seemed to be showing off deliberately, her aura was directed mostly towards Adriel and his team.
Under such intense pressure, Adriel broke into a cold sweat, only managing to shout as his own energy wrapped around him, fending off Celine's imposing force.
The detector then registered a new source of energy, though much weaker compared to Xavier and Celine, at only 8560 power levels.
Swish, swish, swish, under the immense pressure, others also released all their energy, with the combined force capable of destroying the planet, the power displayed was unparalleled.
Belruk’s power level: 8369!
Paradis's power level: 8095!
Rebecca’s power level: 7966!
Liz’s power level: 7750!
Alice’s power level: 7457!
Each of them possessed the qualifications of high-level warriors, their strengths not far below Adriel's.
In a flash, small suns lit up the towering hilltop, fierce winds swept through, and waves of energy clashed against each other, shattering everything in their path with unstoppable force.
Boom, boom, boom!
A violent collapse.
The towering hills could no longer withstand the enormous energies unleashed, beginning to crumble and disintegrate.
"Alright, everyone, bring your power back," Xavier quickly called out, seeing the chaos around them.
As the words left his mouth, each began to retract their auras, but the remnants of the storm continued to rage across the barren planet.
Then, Celine happily approached Adriel, "Father, how do you like Xavier's and my power? You all are high-level warriors, yet you can't even match our power levels; that's really weak!" She said, her eyes showing a hint of disdain.
Adriel couldn't help but chuckle silently; the latter part of her statement was undoubtedly what she truly intended to convey.
This girl was brimming with pride, almost insufferably so!
But then again, both Adriel and Rebecca were elite Saiyan warriors, and to have a daughter who was merely a mid-level warrior must have fostered a sense of "inferiority" in Celine.
Now, as a mid-level warrior surpassing her elite warrior father, her pride was palpable. This was a classic underdog story, wasn't it? How could she not flaunt this achievement?
Adriel understood this sentiment. Watching his daughter's eyes sparkle with pride, he cleared his throat and graciously showered her with compliments. He then approached Xavier seriously and said, “Xavier, the future of the Saiyans might very well rest on your shoulders. Let us know your thoughts directly!”
“You have our full support in whatever decision you make!”
Belruk nodded slightly, affirming his stance.
The other members of Adriel’s team expressed their support as well, particularly Alice, the youngest among them. She held a special fondness for the young warriors Xavier and Celine, and was overjoyed to see Xavier’s increasing strength.
Soon after, Xavier led the group in using Instant Transmission, quickly returning them to their home on Planet Vegeta. They needed to strategize on how to preserve the Saiyan populace under Frieza’s watchful eye.
“The first step is choosing a planet for evacuation; it must be far from Frieza’s reach, preferably distant from the Icejin territory,” Adriel mused while sitting on the couch.
After the evacuation, the Saiyans couldn’t just settle on one planet without branching out. They would need a location out of reach of the Icejin clan.
The vast cosmos was sprinkled with countless planets, like grains of sand spread across the dark tapestry of space, creating a stunningly vibrant mural. Among these, countless were suitable for life, especially within the Northern Galaxy.
Unfortunately, apart from a few regions, most of the Northern Galaxy was under the icy grip of the Icejin clan. If Adriel and his team wanted to find a suitable planet, they might need to venture beyond the Northern Galaxy’s bounds.
“Let us handle the planetary affairs. Xavier and Celine, your primary task is to enhance your combat abilities,” Belruk stated coolly, his voice as chilling as ice.
The others nodded in agreement. The universe was a harsh, survival-of-the-fittest realm, and what the Saiyans needed most were champions—super warriors capable of protecting their kind from many threats. If the Saiyans had sufficient power now, they wouldn’t have been driven from their homeland by Frieza.
Xavier and Celine, blessed with promising new beginnings, had the crucial task of boosting their own combat skills.
“Regarding the evacuation personnel, you need to be meticulous in your selection. We can’t take many, and it’s best to avoid attracting the attention of King Vegeta and Frieza, or all our efforts will be wasted,” Xavier cautioned.
Since they planned to stealthily evacuate a portion of the Saiyan population, secrecy was essential. Any undue attention from King Vegeta or Frieza would exhaust their resources and escalate into a direct confrontation if discovered.
“We’ll be thorough in our selection,” the group responded, their expressions stern as they nodded seriously.
