Chapter 43: Unleashing Power

Suddenly, Adriel's face flushed with excitement, his fist thumping into his palm as if he had realized something important.

"Xavier, how many people can you take with you using Instant Transmission? If we find a suitable planet for life, could you bring many Saiyans over?" Adriel asked, sparking a thought among the group.

Indeed, if they found an unnoticeable planet, couldn't they quietly relocate many Saiyans? However, it all depended on whether Xavier had the capability to transport large groups.

Excitement surged through Adriel and the others as they looked expectantly at Xavier.

Clearing his throat, Xavier did not disappoint them, his bright smile confirming, "I can currently transport ten people at a time with Instant Transmission, needing intermediary planets to rest! While it's not a large number, the distance covered by each teleportation is substantial, far beyond what any spaceship could achieve."

"And as my power grows, my psychic abilities will strengthen too!"

At this, everyone laughed.

The distances Xavier could cover with a single teleportation would take days by spacecraft. Although he could transport only a few people at a time, it was better than none. Moreover, as Xavier's power increased, so would his teleportation capabilities.

This reassured Adriel somewhat.

And for some reason, a bizarre thought suddenly arose in the minds of Adriel's squad.

Do Saiyans believe in gods? Perhaps yes, perhaps no, but they believe more in their own strength!

If a god is stronger than them, then believing is acceptable; but what's the point if the god is weaker?

However, at this moment, with the mature presence of Xavier, they began to feel a hint of reverence for the mysterious fates.

Indeed, as the Saiyans faced the threat of extinction, the emergence of a Saiyan like Xavier with special psychic powers seemed almost divinely ordained—if so, it was indeed a blessing from the gods!

"It seems we can no longer see him as just a kid," Adriel thought privately.

Of course, Xavier was unaware of their thoughts.

At that moment, he was contemplating the Instant Transmission abilities on the planet Yardrat, which seemed to have no limitations on the number of people transported; anyone holding hands could teleport together without any clear distance restrictions—a truly perfect technique.

Alas, techniques and psychic powers fundamentally differ, Xavier sighed to himself.

When he had the chance, he would definitely visit Yardrat to learn their version of Instant Transmission, but first, he needed to know its spatial coordinates.

On Wasteland Planet.

The icy wind howled fiercely, its frigid currents moving at high speeds, battering against their faces with a ferocity that made even their unruly black hair flutter wildly. However, every Saiyan present possessed a battle-hardened physique that made such harsh conditions seem trivial, hardly an inconvenience.

"By the way, Xavier, why did you ask me to bring the energy detector?" Rebecca remembered Xavier's earlier mention of the device, now holding the scouter in her hand.

"Aunt Rebecca, Uncle Adriel, there's something I've never told you," Xavier said, his handsome face breaking into a slight grin.

"The truth is, Celine and I completed our mission on planet Selma years ago. We didn't return to Planet Vegeta immediately because we didn't want to stand out too much and draw unnecessary attention. Besides, after discovering the psychic power of Instant Transmission, Celine and I traveled to other planets to train!"

"Wait, you mean you completed the mission years ago? Does that mean your power levels were already over 1000 back then?" Paradis exclaimed, eyes wide with surprise.

"That's right, I broke through the 1000 power level mark when I was just a little over five years old," Xavier admitted freely.

His confession immediately drew shocked looks from the elders; even the usually stoic Belruk glanced his way. Reaching a power level of 1000 at such a young age, was he still considered a mid-level warrior? His growth rate was astonishingly fast, almost unbelievable—even compared to Prince Vegeta.

"Fearing that returning to Planet Vegeta too soon would attract the attention of King Vegeta, Celine and I decided to continue our training on other planets," Xavier explained.

Adriel nodded in understanding, approving of Xavier's strategy. Saiyans are known for their boastful nature, usually eager to proclaim their achievements far and wide. Xavier’s discretion in concealing his strength was rare indeed. Given the current situation on Planet Vegeta, his choice was undoubtedly wise.

It had prevented King Vegeta from noticing them and kept them off Frieza’s radar!

Curious, Adriel asked, "So, your true power levels aren't what you've shown. Just how strong are you now?"

"I'll tell it, I'll tell it!" Seeing her father's astonished expression, Celine puffed out her chest proudly, spreading her arms with a look of pride.

"After Xavier and I left planet Selma, we traveled to a beautifully primitive planet. The humans there had insignificant individual power levels, but they possessed an incredible martial arts technique. By learning their methods, Xavier and I saw our power levels surge dramatically!"

"How did you manage to evade detection by the energy detectors?" Liz asked in her raspy voice.

That was a question on everyone's mind. Energy detectors were specifically designed to sense individual power levels; what could possibly circumvent such technology?

"Energy detectors essentially track the energy that leaks from a living body," Xavier explained earnestly. "Celine and I learned to harness a form of energy called 'Ki' on that planet. By keeping our Ki contained within us and preventing it from leaking, the detectors couldn’t sense our energy!"

He then went on to clarify the concept of Ki. However, much like the generational gap that can exist between different ages, no matter how many times Xavier tried to explain, Adriel and the others couldn't quite grasp what Ki really was. Years of ingrained habits had solidified their own methods of energy manipulation, and it was hard for them to adapt to a new concept so suddenly.

Perhaps only Saiyans with exceptional talents like Prince Vegeta would be able to master the use of Ki in the future.

Even though they couldn’t fully comprehend what Ki was, it didn't prevent them from acknowledging its existence—a complex and profound new theory, after all.

Xavier tapped the ground lightly with one foot, and his body immediately soared into the air, his hair fluttering wildly in the howling wind. He took a deep breath, then shouted down to Adriel and the others:

"Everyone watch, I'm going to release all my energy now!"

He crossed his arms in front of his chest, fists clenched, and shouted lowly:

"Ha!"

Instantly, an overwhelming aura erupted from Xavier as the center, his body acting like a giant magnet. Rocks around him began to lift off the ground, chaotically floating and spinning around him. The already fierce atmosphere of the barren planet grew even more tumultuous. The chaotic air currents mixed with his formidable aura scattered in all directions, pulling together the ionized particles floating in the atmosphere into serpentine, twisting flashes of brilliant lightning.

Boom!

Suddenly, the sky roared as deep violet lightning pierced the dense, heavy clouds, striking down in a beautiful, meandering trail across the sky.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The energy detector responded to this surge of power with a series of urgent electronic beeps, as the numbers on its display rapidly climbed.

"2000!"

"3000!"

"6000!"

...

The figures continued to rise.

The initial surprise on the faces of Adriel and the others turned to solemn concentration as they watched the numbers climb, deeply shaken by the readings.

Yet, the numbers on the energy detector showed no signs of stopping. Could this still not be Xavier’s true strength? How high could his power level go? Could it break ten thousand?

Watching Xavier, wrapped in dense spheres of Ki, Adriel couldn’t help but feel a mix of awe and anticipation.

Then—

"9000!"

"10000!"

...

Xavier's power level swiftly surpassed ten thousand and continued to climb, causing even Adriel and Belruk to grow exceedingly serious, their blood boiling with the rising tension...

"Xavier is... so powerful!" Alice's voice trembled, her beautiful eyes flickering.

High above, Xavier shone like a newly risen sun, dazzling and brilliant. The terrifying aura he emitted had enveloped the entire continent, causing the ground to tremble slightly. The stray energies escaping him interacted with the ionized particles in the air, creating crackling and popping sounds as they discharged.
