Chapter 12: First Arrival on Earth

Atop a mountain plateau, a small figure hovered three meters above the ground, surrounded by tiny rocks rhythmically rising and falling.
Crack—
Suddenly, the air pressure at the mountain peak surged violently, causing the air to compress with a series of high-pitched squeals. The rocks trembled, and fine cracks spread across their surfaces.
"Boom!" The rocks burst abruptly, turning into a cloud of dust, and in their place, a sinister dark red fissure appeared, ominously cold and intermittently flashing with icy lightning, resembling a ferocious beast opening its gaping maw.
It seemed poised to swallow everything.
This fissure was a tear in the fabric of space, filled with the destructive power of thunder.
"Disperse!" A sharp command was uttered, and the terrifying spatial rift in the sky shuddered a few times, reluctantly vanishing from sight. Xavier, frowning, looked towards where the fissure had disappeared, trying to activate the energy within his body. Suddenly, a misty golden glow enveloped him, his aura powerful enough to create a whirlwind that swept away all surrounding dust.
The electronic beeping of a device broke the silence, displaying a series of data.
"2530 battle power!"
Over two thousand five hundred in battle power, equivalent to a typical adult mid-level warrior!
A slight smile curled the corners of Xavier's mouth as he let out a long breath. After years of relentless effort and countless hardships, his battle power had increased more than fivefold since his arrival on Planet Selma. Yet, his most formidable attributes were not his physical strength but the two mysterious and profound Superpowers he wielded.
After extensive development, Xavier had mastered his spatial psychic abilities, evolving beyond mere Instant Transmission to create a new technique—Spatial Slash! This devastatingly unpredictable move was as practical as the "Time Stop" technique.
Turning off his energy detector, he surveyed the vast, desolate highlands that bordered the western Gobi of Planet Selma. The dull yellow gravel blanketed the ground, and as the wind blew, it whipped up a storm of sand, evoking a bold, expansive feeling in his heart.
"It's been over three years since I arrived on Planet Selma; it's time to leave."
With a mere thought, Xavier vanished abruptly from the mountaintop.
On the flat highlands, Celine continued her vigorous training. The energy she emitted pressed against the atmosphere, creating a hissing sound. Beads of sweat dripped from her hair, steaming as they hit the ground. Her beautiful hair, tied with a ribbon, danced in the wind, some strands sticking to her sweaty face.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
A massive wave of energy surged and rolled around Celine, the central air pressure dropping dramatically as if a desert storm were sweeping across the land. As Celine's punches and kicks sped up, the sounds of air tearing filled the air, and the area within hundreds of meters seemed like a boiling pot of water.
Boom!!
A figure appeared above, free-falling, then lightly stretched out a palm. In an instant, the entire storm was scattered.
The fierce winds ceased, and the swirling sand and stones, now subject to gravity's pull, fell back to the ground.
Xavier landed on one foot and walked towards Celine.
"Brother!" Celine called out unhappily, clearly displeased that Xavier had interrupted her training.
Xavier smiled, nonchalantly dusting off the sand from his clothes. "Don't be angry. I came to tell you that we're about to leave this planet."
At these words, Celine's mood visibly brightened, and she quickly asked, "Brother Xavier, have you mastered your psychic powers? Do we no longer need a spaceship?"
Now more mature in her thinking, Celine understood the necessity of holding multiple aces up their sleeves, mistrusting King Vegeta and Frieza. Their method of evading Vegeta's notice involved concealing their battle power, necessitating their journey to the distant Earth.
Xavier nodded affirmatively, his tone serious, "Yes, if I fully exert my psychic powers while carrying you, we should be able to reach Earth very quickly!"
"When do we leave?"
"As soon as we've properly stored the spacecraft, we can depart at any time."
Celine nodded, then with a light tap of her toes, she soared into the air towards the valley where they resided.
Following her, Xavier watched the young girl's decisive actions and shook his head sadly, "Little Celine has grown up; she's not clingy anymore, and not as cute as she was when she was younger!"
Normally, he indulged Celine’s whims, which should have made her more dependent on him. Why then was she becoming increasingly independent? Was it a misstep in his guidance, or was the inherently strong and independent nature of the Saiyans becoming more pronounced?
...
Returning to the small valley they had called home for three years, Xavier confirmed that both spacecraft were securely placed. He then found a massive rock to block the cave entrance.
After these preparations, Xavier took Celine's hand and said, "Hold on tight to me, I'm going to activate 'Instant Transmission'."
Celine nodded, stepping forward to hug Xavier, burying her head in his chest.
Xavier spread his arms around Celine's waist, the fingers of his other hand pressed together at his forehead, his demeanor extremely solemn. With a focused thought, a strange ripple immediately enveloped them both.
Following a brief flash of light, the pair disappeared from the peaceful and remote valley.
...
In the vast cosmos, a veil-like galaxy cascaded from the northeast to the southwest, with stars glittering brightly and sparkling crystals of light. Small and large stars adorned the night sky, constantly shimmering with diamond-like brilliance.
Earth, a cerulean blue planet in the southern part of the North Galaxy.
Considered a low-level planet, Earth was overlooked by other civilizations because even armed humans here only possessed a meager battle power of about ten. Yet, despite its unremarkable appearance, this planet harbored the most profound martial arts.
At that moment, in a hilly woodland area of the northern hemisphere, a dazzling radiance twinkled in the sky like a star.
After the glow, two figures suddenly appeared in mid-air, then unexpectedly plummeted straight down.
"Wow!" Xavier hit the ground, instantly lying flat and greedily breathing in the fresh air filled with the planet's vital energy.
"Ah, that was a close call. We nearly lost our way in space. We can't be that reckless again," Xavier lamented inwardly. Although he had managed to find Earth's coordinates from the spacecraft, he had underestimated the difficulty of interstellar travel. If not for sheer luck, they might have become lost in the cosmos. After several planetary transits along the way, they finally arrived at their destination.
The large-scale Instant Transmission was incredibly draining. Even though he transitioned from one planet to another, the entire process nearly depleted all his energy, almost costing him his life before achieving his goal.
"Brother Xavier, you really need to think carefully before using Instant Transmission again," Celine murmured softly. She then began to observe their surroundings, her eyebrows slightly furrowed, "Is this the Earth Brother Xavier spoke of? The gravity is only one-tenth of that on Planet Vegeta, not even comparable to Selma. Does this place really have some miraculous martial arts techniques?"
After resting for a while and regaining some strength, Xavier stood up and responded, "Don't underestimate Earth. Even though it's just a low-level planet, the martial arts philosophy here is not simple. If we can fully master it, not to mention facing King Vegeta, even Frieza could be easily defeated."
Celine's eyes sparkled, having never seen her brother Xavier speak so highly of a planet before.
"It seems this planet really does have something worthwhile!"
Xavier scanned the surroundings and said, "First, let's find a populated area to get some appropriate clothing, then we can look for a place to train."
