That's why they all took it on themselves to put together this great piece in honor to the fandom - I absolutely loved it! 37:47 Most of them are still active and some were going their own directions, using their passion for arts, animations and music to do other awesome stuff that is helpful in their overall (sometimes even corporal) career. 38:54 / 46:02 That lovely "cloud"-pony is from another fan-made fan-favorite animation called "Snowdrop" - It's definitely worth the watch. Also these conventions aren't hosted by MLP-Related staff or Hasbro. They are also done by the fandom, but it often happens that show-staff / VA's etc. attend in some of these panels, like Q&A's or just to celebrate with the fans. Also the conventions didn't all stop, HarmonyCon as an example still exists, BronyCon (one of the biggest) however ended 2019 due to the reclining fans that attended it and to hold it in best memories. However the fandom also partly recuperated due to G5 with new fans and so on its a changing thing that comes and goes. Especially online it still thrives... 47:00 / 48:00 Yes I love "Addicted to a memory" as it's exactly emitting the feeling for me after the show ended... So I would like you to also direct your thanks to them π About older Generations: The thing is, the older Generations aren't coherent or connected with each other: each earlier Generation has a very different context that doesn't compare to any other Generations (there is mostly only a slight reuse of character-names with different designs etc.) that have very different animations and very differing qualities... - It's not in any way comparable to PokΓ©mon Generations... Anyway, I didn't see much of them, but what I saw was often not my cup of tea and rarely enticing enough. However, If you want to try them, be my guest - I will watch your reaction to it anyway - would be a new experience for the two of us π π Reacting to Fandom stuff: I understand what you mean by disconnection to the show, however the fan stuff isn't only fandom related PMV stuff, its often diving into the side stories, unexplored territories of what-if's, different viewpoints that never got explored in the show - one example is a fanvideo called "the Fall of Sunset Shimmer" which explores what happened before she went to the human world or some silly side-stories about what happened to a regular citizen of Ponyville during the happenings of each seasons, or what the relationship between different characters was (that was never shown, just hinted) etc. etc. - It's not just only an entire else thing or Alternative Universe like "Fallout: Equestria" is, albeit there are really great ones that we definitely recommend at least to read for yourself π (Or listen to the Audiobooks). And all the missed opportunities and side stories in the show you mentioned, sadly, weren't handled by the original creators. Instead, they were often picked up by fan animators and creators. Part of the reason for this was the fandom itself, encouraging creative freedom and exploration. (Though, maybe it was just an excuse for the creators not to tackle it themselves π - well, we'll never know.) Anyway, we all wished for more of that. Some of it was explored in the comics, but unfortunately, not all. Anyway, the original plan was for us to create thematic videos, similar to this one, so you could watch and react to them on your own schedule. That said, while weβd love for you to check them out, we donβt want to pressure you into watching anything youβre not interested in. So we truly appreciate that you gave them at least a chance π

2025-01-18 22:41:40 +0000 UTCAlso g1, g2, g3, would definitely be fun for you to watch lol also pony life, π Iβd love to watch those reactions, the fandom does talk about them but just not as much as g4 also the movie wasnβt seen negatively all the way but some fans and critics hated it, it definitely got mlp back in a boom because it was theaters there was a lot of hype around it, same with equestria girls some loved it some were shocked by it lol some thought it would kill the fandom but it didnβt there definitely was a slowdown of fans but as equestria girls went on so many fans started to love it especially sunset and her redemption! it definitely got better as it went along itβs just the first movie was polarizing to everyone

For making this! π also to answer your questions there are still conventions! harmonycon, trotcon, vanhoover pony expo, everfreenorthwest, seaquestriafest and many more babscon is having its last ponycon this year! so I think you may have gotten confused when they mentioned bronycon ended in 2019, it was the biggest con and it was held in New York, so thereβs like 34 cons left with some of those being in other countries too just not as many as they used to have sadly, also yes g6 is rumored to be happening sometime at the end of this year or next year most likely already some leaks have happened so yes will will be getting more pony! Hasbro is not ending the my little pony! Iβm very excited for more pony to come out, also this video was amazing so many beautiful fanworks and songs/ animations, also solidarity has to be one of my favorites itβs definitely emotional and pays homage to all the fandom creators also the ones who have passed away rip to those creators, I enjoy all these songs and animations Iβd be interested in seeing your reaction to more fan content I know itβs not your favorite but I think youβd enjoy lots of it!, the brony fandom is the most creative fandom ever! and Iβm very proud to be a brony!
