2025-10-14 05:43:03 +0000 UTCTHE PEAK!!! This twist broke my brain when I was 12, it was so crazy I had no idea. It's rare to see someone who isn't spoiled on Aizen watch Bleach especially nowadays. I think it's incredible how Tite Kubo writes the story so that even though everyone in the soul society is technically, "in the way" of the main characters by this point we still like a lot of them. To the point where, when Hitsugaya looks like he's about to die we're actually concerned, and we're angry for Hinamori Momo. And like you mentioned, it even shows the most evil guy in the soul society that was written for us to hate him, Kurotsuchi Mayuri wasn't even involved at all in this and isn't even part of this evil plan he's just coincidentally a mad scientist asshat. It really makes this big faction that is the Soul Society feel really alive when you have like so many different philosophies that the characters follow going on and we think they're just hard targeting Rukia for some unknown reason and blame it on Byakuya, when in reality they're all just going through the motions and these 3 lunatics are manipulating literally everyone. The 1 second of backstory we got for the blindguy is even more wild to think about now. Also, "The Dog" has every right to be pissed cause if you remember he stopped Kenpachi from killing the blind guy before any of this happened back when Kenpachi broke out of the blind guy's bankai. If he hadn't of blocked it Kenpachi was prepared to kill that guy, and Aizen would have had to send Gin to get Rukia from Renji. It's such a fucking crazy story all done so quickly after the first arc it's bonkers i love it and i'm glad that it seems like you do too.
