2025-07-06 02:37:59 +0000 UTCLots of people are confused on Vegeta with SS3 and they also love the callback to the crossed arms of Vegito during the Buuhan fight. To me, Vegeta has been capable of SS3, even in Super, but we know it's a form that takes a lot of energy because of Goku's journey with it during the Buu Saga. Vegeta is the type to do a lot of ki blasts with his fighting style. So I think he chose to stick with SS2 and go deeper in it the same way Goku and Gohan went deep into SS1 before the Cell Games. Vegeta's crossed arms are definitely a visual call to Vegito. But it's also a way to show he's keep his arms locked down so he doesn't resort to muscle memory of spamming ki and blowing through his draining reserves needlessly. It is a perfect amp for his little body to give them the strength they're missing. Oh and the SS3 multiplier is x200 of their base power. SS1 is x50 and then is double that (x100) and SS3 is double that (x200)
