I still consider Yamato and carrot as straw hats along with vivid in an official stance.

His mythical zoan is a Hydra, it has 7 heads, his first was cut off by Kaido, he lost 5 more when the Akazaya beheaded him, and his final head was taken by Denjiro. I mean, this is never explicitly explained so I get it.
