Nah, it's pretty believable if you actually think about it. Sanji was at a huge disadvantage because he has to avoid hurting Momo while fighting Kanjuro, so he can't just send them both flying with his strongest attacks. Kanjuro and Akazaya 9 are actually pretty cracked in terms of scaling, so Sanji holding back would def get beat like this especially when he doesn't know Kanjuro's fighting style at all.

I think about 10 people sound right." which would imply 10 crew members in addition to Luffy. This has been a pretty contested quote tho from what i know. so all I can say is Who knows. Lets let Oda cook and see what happens.
