Really puts it into perspective, 1000 years ago Frieren looks maybe 13 or 14 years old, she does look older now but probably 18 at the absolute oldest I would say. Could just be that elves mature quickly and then remain in their physical prime for much much longer but if not then Frieren could easily be 4 or 5 thousand years old.

2024-11-03 18:13:18 +0000 UTCFern met Frieren when she was about 8/9 and she at the current point is 16. So they have been together for at least 8 years. It's why Frieren really is more than just a master to her and is more like a mother figure. I've said it before but you can see little behaviours and acts that Fern does that are clearly learnt from Frieren. Also you may have not noticed it but it is stated in the episode. Flamme left her book for Frieren a thousand years ago. Meaning our favourite socially inept introverted elf is at least 1000 years old.
