i love this arc so much. Of course they'll keep facing hurdles after hurdles. of course they'll be pushed to their limits and beyond, because they are on an emperor's territory. if it were easy, everyone would go to cross their territories.

2024-09-18 23:17:17 +0000 UTCIT IS HERE! Tears are shed and hype is at max. Lets go! in for 2 weeks of some of the best character growth fighting luffy has ever had. On a serious note. I really did not get the pedro thing the first time i watched this. I think it was mostly because i was caught up at the time, so i was a bit annoyed by the slowdown the past episodes which made me color everything in a bad light. In subsequent watches, how this is built up is masterful, especially in retrospect after the next arc. Whole cake was not in my top arcs before this rewatch, but i am realizing now with all my current knowledge just how much this arc actually means.
