Been a Patreon member for a while but first time commenting, I'm a fan from England and I actually live in the city of Derby that was mentioned this episode :) never thought I'd hear Derby be mentioned in an anime haha. Loving the Vinland Saga and One Piece reactions cheers!

Also you may have already realized this but I just wanna clear up Askeladd's been telling his men he wants to trade Canute, but he also told that one guy from Wales that he wants to make Canute king so he (Askeladd) can secure a high position of power and then safety for Wales. If were to believe the later than the King wanting Canute dead doesn't ruin Askeladd's plan.
