Idk if that was ever explicitly stated, but even assuming that's true imagine how many mother and babies got murdered for being "suspicious". All of the ones that got taken by the marines were probably seen as suspicious because Roger had visited those islands, imo they were all likely killed since that would be the only way to make sure. These are the same marines that have the idealogy of Akainu who sunk an entire civilian ship killing entire families to make sure no Ohara scholars escaped, I don't think it's a stretch to assume they killed many of those they kidnapped. Even if they didn't want to, the Elder Stars would have demanded it.

2023-09-03 14:16:57 +0000 UTCJust as a refresher, there was a line during the summit war after Luffy used his conqueror's haki to knock everyone out where Ace said "He can use it, too?" that foreshadowed Ace having it but we had never seen Ace use it until this flashback.

2023-09-03 14:10:37 +0000 UTCdont know if u read the message but, from my understanding the navy didnt kill all the babies and mothers when looking for rogers child but kept them in captivity intil they were sure it was not rogers child. the orders was to kill IF they acted suspicious
