We have spent a great deal of time revamping the game and without further ado:
New things:
Complete edit of chapters through chapter 4, text and flow
Added hinting arrow system that guides you through clicking, only works up to chapter 2
Added ambient sounds, that happen when you open the window or doors, or change location
Added continuance of drinking game
Added test functionality of minigame with Hermione (not yet complete)
Added new Susan minigame, with rewards
Updated objectives as things changed in game
Added small rewards for choices in chapter 2
Added more main plot to Act2 Chapter 1
Added spying on girls prior to dating scene in chapter 4
Added dating scene in chapter 4
Swimsuit quest is simpler and easy to follow, ripped out a lot of redundant text from chapter 4 (We apologize this sucked up a lot of development time but has been the biggest complaint)
You now pick a Waifu at the beginning of that chapter and only solve/read papers of one girl
Added sound functions to support random sounds (not in use atm)
Added function to enable fining Markus for bad actions
Built scripts to swap out translations as we will be redoing the engine completely in the future, so we had to do this to support it
And last, but not least, a new scene with one of the girls, finish Act2 Chapter goals, and you will see the steps required for it in your goals, once you are on the right track.
Things that didn’t quite make it:
Minigames with Luna, Daphne and a special minigame for Chapter 3
Side dating scenes for Act 2
About the new scene:
We now have movement continue while text is displayed, this is a custom module we made for Innocent Witches and is not standard renpy behaviour
Due to this, we have added intro sounds, that have loops queuing after, which then play while the animation is happening, once the player continues, the outro music is queued, this makes it so the sound is seamless, regardless of how fast you play through the scene.
This also means, you might get annoyed by some of the loops and sound volumes, please remember you can adjust them to your taste. We had many discussions and debates about sounds and music and the fact is, it’s not easy to reach a consensus when people’s tastes are different. So if you hate the music, and want a poll about it, ask in Discord.

На это обновление ушло немало времени, так что без лишних слов:
Нововведения:
- Полная переработка/редактирование глав до четвертой главы включительно.
- Добавлена
система стрелок-подсказок, которая подсказывает куда надо нажимать для продолжения, работает только до второй главы. - Добавлены фоновые звуки для различный действий: открывание окон или дверей и смены локаций.
- Добавлено продолжение мини игры с алкоголем.
- В тестовом режиме добавлена мини игра с Гермионой (ещё не закончена).
- Добавлена
новая мини игра Сьюзан, включая награды за успешное прохождение. - В игре теперь доступен список изменений в текущей и предыдущих версиях (changelog).
- Добавлены небольшие награды за выборы во второй главе.
- Добавлено продолжение основного сюжета в первой главе второго акта.
- Добавлена
сцена слежки за девушками в четвёртой главе. - Добавлена
сцена свидания в четвёртой главе. - Квест с купальниками был упрощён, довольно большой кусок текста был полностью вырезан, оставшийся же был существенно переработан (на это ушло большое количество времени, но мы наконец-то разобрались с самым проблемным моментом игры по мнению множества игроков).
- Выбор вайфу теперь позволяет читать и решать проблемы только одной девушки (вайфу).
- Добавлена функциональность для поддержки случайных звуков (пока не используется).
- Добавлена
функция штрафов за плохие действия главного героя. - Созданы новые скрипты для переводов, так как в будущем мы будем полностью переделывать движок, и без этой функциональности этот процесс будет затруднён.
- И, наконец, была добавлена новая полноэкранная сцена с одной из девушек. Выполните задания второго акта, после этого вы увидите новое задание в журнале.
Что делалось, но не вошло в новую версию:
- Мини-игры с Луной, Дафной и специальная мини игра для третьей главы.
- Побочные сцены знакомств для второго акта.
О новой сцене:
Теперь движение в сцене продолжается, пока отображается текст. Это уникальный модуль, который мы создали для Невинных Ведьм, так как в движке RenPy такая функциональность изначально недоступна.
В связи с этим мы добавили фоновые звуки, стоящие в очереди воспроизведения, которые затем проигрываются во время анимации. Данная система позволяет звукам плавно переходить от одного к другому, что усиливает погружение в игру.
Это также означает, что некоторые отдельные звуки и их громкость могут показаться раздражающими, поэтому их можно настроить на свой вкус в настройках игры. У нас было много дискуссий и споров о звуках и музыке, и из-за разности вкусов и мнений у нас не получилось прийти к идеальному решению, которое устраивало бы всех. Так что если музыка или звуки вас не устраивают и вы хотите, чтобы мы устроили по этому поводу голосование, оставьте комментарий об этом в нашем Discord канале.

2020-08-15 00:43:08 +0000 UTCПонимаю, что разработчики больше всего не любят, когда появляется какой-то недофанат и просит, чтобы "в игру добавили корованы, сталкеров, рассенган и трансформеров") Но лично субьективно мне текст в WT очень нравился - простой, интересный, с юмором, легчо читался, не вызывал неприязни, всё в общем выглядело уместно, Джинни постепенно подтачивал моральные устои Хогвартса и Гермионы, не высовывался. А вот с "ведьмами" даже после всех переделок меня то и дело коробит от этого хамовитого вечно ноющего неадекватного ГГ, который как-то зачем-то при первой встрече с учениками, прям с порога устраивает сюрреалистичный балаган, в которой не веришь ни на секунду... Какой-то самовлюблённый мерзкий алкаш, который постоянно жалуется и ведёт себя как ребёнок. Каждый раз когда ему прилетает оплеуха - искренне радуешься. Невероятно неприятный протагонист. То есть в тех же "Bad Manners" тоже ГГ - временный директор, тоже недалёкого ума, но ему сопереживаешь, он не вызывает отвращения. Ну это лишь моё восприятие - правильным ответом будет "не нравится - не играй"

По тексту - мы уже раза 3 переписывали и редактировали текст в самом начале, писатель у нас работа на данный момент по совместительству, т.к адекватного писателя крайне тяжело найти. В ВТ текст был простой - потому что сюжета там и не было толком. Прилетел, занял место - Гермиона за 20 очков дает в очко. Вот и весь сюжет. По тексту, попробуйте поиграть не с самого начала, а выберите по сюжету чуть дальше.

Рисовка прекрасна! Идея! Просто должно была быть идеальная игра! Но, помню, когда я играл в предыдущие версии, я был безумно разочарован тем, насколько уныл и скучен был текст... Я просто проматывал всё, начиная прям со сцены в азкабане. Очень рад был увидеть, что вы сильно переработали текст, и теперь он вполне себе сносный)

And a suggestion with them if you add them, loosen up a bit with the complexity and slowness of them (like the case of guessing the phrase), not all here geeks of J.K. Rowling, pal.

Во вторых - все знали и были заранее предупреждены (смотрите карту, множество комментарий от нас и т.п) о том, что релиз будет только для 20+ патронов. Мы открыли ченжлог для всех, чтобы каждый решил, стоит ли ему брать эту версию, или подождать месяц-два до бета релиза, где будут поправлены все баги и возможно чуть добавится контента.
