September is over, and it is time for another news update.

I am getting tired of saying it every week, but the second test build is mostly ready and is going through final stage of quality assessment. Despite the fact that we could have fix those bugs after the release of this version, we decided to fix all the know problems now, so that we can promptly correct those that we did not find and were detected after the release. Game will soon become available on the forum. Just a reminder, ero-content is still very limited in this release, again this is another plot-driven chapter, however it is not a continuous stream of words.

The active participation of the members of the closed forum section significantly speed up the whole process. The lack of such activity is likely what hindered us previously. Especially in terms of editing: all the text roughness and inconsistences were detected, and promptly removed. We will soon start active coding of the fourth act, and in other great news: old Hermione will likely be completely replaced in next two or three updates. Due to the inconsistency in opinions on these images, this question became a priority. The replacement will not happen in the upcoming update, since that would require a significant change in code and a lot of time. Most of the changes will happen during our work on the third stage. If we have enough time, you will see the updated images in the third version, if not, the fourth act will only use our original Hermione art. Ero-content that you will see in our game will only use the new version of her. The old version may be released as a bonus in the closed section of the forum (or added as scrolls into the game, we will see how it goes).

We have done a colossal amount of work with the sound design. Perhaps, Tobie’s musical tastes are not shared by everyone, but we decided to run an experiment. Most likely some of the parts will be removed from the future versions, you may choose to think of it as a kind if an exclusive version. Again, we have to say that all the music we use is borrowed. There is a chance that one day it will be replaced with either copyright free or exclusive tracks.
All in all, we are adding final touches to the second version, nothing exciting going on. And again please prepare yourself, you will have to read and there is quite a lot of text. We have tried to reduce it as much as we could, but there are some parts that you just have to include. And yes, if the dialogue is supposed to be boring it will be boring, if we had to make it tedious, it will be tedious. If the story demands our protagonist to be bored or annoyed, we will not alter it to make it more exciting.

Я уже сам устал повторять это каждую неделю, но второй тестовый билд уже условно завершен и проходит последние этапы пост-обработки. Несмотря на то, что многое можно было исправлять уже в тестовом режиме, мы решили сделать по-максимуму из того, что видим сами, чтобы потом оперативно исправлять то, что не заметили. Отмашка начать раздачу на форуме уже вот-вот будет произведена. Напомню, что об эротике пока речи не идет, это всё ещё сюжетная глава, но уже не идущая сплошным потоком.

Активное участие членов закрытого раздела значительно ускоряет процесс. Думаю, это именно то, чего нам не хватало ранее. Особенно в плане редактуры: были обнаружены несостыковки и значительные шероховатости, которые были оперативно устранены. В скором времени в код пойдет четвертый акт, а также радостная новость: терпеть старую гермиону осталось буквально патч или два. Ввиду довольно неоднозначных отзывов по поводу авторских изображений, было решено подойти к вопросу главной героини с максимальным приоритетом. Во второй волне замена производиться не будет, иначе правка кода может затянуться надолго. Адаптация кода будет происходить в третьей волне. Если успеем - там и заменим, ежели нет - окончательно введена героиня будет в четвертой волне. Эротику вы увидите однозначно с новой героиней. Варианты медиа со старой героиней будут разве что бонусом для закрытого раздела (или свитками, потом будет виднее).

Была проведена колоссальная работа со звуковым оформлением. Возможно, мои музыкальные пристрастия разделяют не все, но я позволил себе личный эксперимент. Скорее всего он будет убран в дальнейшем, считайте это некой эксклюзивной версией. При этом мы не скрываем, что вся музыка является заимствованной. Есть вариант, что однажды она будет оперативно заменена либо на бесплатную, либо на эксклюзивную.

В целом, пока наносятся последние штрихи на второй билд, ничего нового не происходит. И я настоятельно прошу вас настроиться на то, что читать придется и придется довольно ощутимо много. Мы старались сокращать, как могли, но, как говорится, из песни слов не выкинешь. Если разговор по сюжету должен быть нудным, он будет нудным, если сонным - он будет сонным. Если нежелательным или утомительным - значит так тому и быть. Мы не заставим вас чувствовать больше, чем должен почувствовать герой игры.
