While attuned to this magic item, you gain a +3 to your Spell Attack Bonus and Spell Save DC.
Knowledge of All - While attuned to this magic item, you gain access to every spell. Additionally, you gain 1 spell slot of each level up to level 7.
If you are already a spellcaster, you use your normal spellcasting ability modifier and gain the additional spell slots on top of those you already have. If you are not a spellcaster, you may choose a spellcasting ability modifier between Wisdom, Intelligence, and Charisma. You may use the spell slots granted by the Fragment to cast your spells.
Power at a Price (Curse) - When attuning to this item, you must make a DC20 Intelligence (Arcana) check. On a success, you attune to the item normally. On a failure, you become attuned to the item, but take 1d10 Psychic damage whenever you call on its power. On a roll of a 1, you immediately take 20d10 Psychic damage and are Incapacitated for 24hrs.
If you die while attuned to this item, your soul is instantly absorbed into the Fragment, and you cannot be revived by any means short of the Wish spell. In addition, breaking attunement with this item requires a DC30 Intelligence (Arcana) check or the use of a Wish spell to overcome the call of the Fragment. Failure to break attunement when you attempt to do so causes the Fragment to deal 10d10 Psychic damage to you.
