One of my favourites of early S2 and the end of part 1 in particular is a very uplifting moment. I like that it was Dee that made Adama come around in the end. While everyone else is celebrating having no idea about their conversation, she's just sitting there thankful that he listened. Sometimes the most unassuming people make the biggest difference. At the same time however, this is also the episode that solidified my dislike of Roslin. It just never sits right with me how she makes a deal to spare Sharon and then immediately breaks it. When you giv your word you keep it, doesn't matter to who, or to what. To make matters worse, later when she's talking to Adama and he says he forgives her, she throws it back in his face like she did nothing wrong. Now you could criticize how Adama handled it, but the fact is they too had a deal that she broke. She agreed to leave military decisions in his hands, then went behind his back sending Starbuck on that mission. She's not even making an "ends justifying the means" argument, just flat out acting like she did nothing wrong. Adama comes out of this episode looking much better because he humbled himself, offered an olive branch, and made up for his mistakes. At least Caprica Sharon got a few chances to prove where her allegiances lie, and they seem to be giving her the benefit of the doubt for now. Still, killing a centurion and a human conspirator doesn't mean too much given the other Sharon took out a whole basestar right before shooting Adama. Regarding that greeting she gave the chief, I'm guessing that's supposed to be showing a conflict between the feelings she developed for Helo and the memories she has of the relationship with Tyrol even though they've never met. Understandably uncomfortable for Helo, hell for everyone involved. At least they have a roadmap now. I'm assuming what we saw in the tomb of Athena was some sort of hologram, though it's puzzling that whatever technology created it still worked given the state of the tomb. Unless the hologram is coming from the arrow itself, as it does have some crystals in the head. That would make it a rather advanced little piece of tech though. Adama may have been talking out of his ass when he first talked about going to Earth, but the gamble paid off and now all doubt can be put to rest.
