I mean, I appreciate that they haven't completely left the Connor thread behind, but... eh it's hard for me to care about him. π

2023-09-23 14:30:08 +0000 UTCPretty late in the game for Connor to resurface, but I suppose you would want to be tying up loose ends at this point in the series. Connor seems to have grown up quite a bit since last we saw him, he's not still stuck in his whiny emo kid phase. That never really made sense to me that he'd be so distraught over the harsh realities of life. I mean the guy grew up in a hell dimension. Even with the downsides of life on Earth, it should be a paradise compared to where he grew up. I do like how he walked that tight rope at the end of pretending he didn't remember and going back to his new family, while subtly letting Angel know that he did actually remember and appreciate what he did for him. Also Spike getting his ass handed to him by Illyria is tons of fun. Love how he's laying out all these rules and being very protective of his clipboard, and she's just tossing him around the room for shits and giggles.
