While I remember this episode, I forgot that Starbuck's secret about Zak was revealed to Adama this early. That's gotta suck for her going from being told "you're like a daughter to me" to basically "get out of here before my violent urges kick in". It's understandable from his perspective though. He not only lost Zak because Starbuck passed him before he was ready, but he damn near lost Lee because he blamed him for what happened. Now sure, you could argue Adama still played a role because he pushed Zak to be a Viper pilot, but if Starbuck had failed him he would have lived. Whether he survived the invasion is another question. If he wasn't in the colonial fleet(on Galactica), probably not. There's still the question of what the cylons are up to with Helo. They're clearly shadowing him, but why? Why not just send some soldiers and be done with it. Also bold to have a 2 parter this early in the run.
