I really like this episode. Was routing for jennifer and rodney since the season 4 Finale. Was glad when it became finally canon.

2023-06-29 22:31:55 +0000 UTCI actually didn't know who Bill Nye or Neil deGrasse Tyson were when I first watched this episode (and that was because I watched it as a kid, not because I lived under a rock), and only on rewatch did I get that they were actual famous scientists making a cameo and not just fictional characters.

2023-06-24 13:49:22 +0000 UTCI can't help but wonder how many of those other scientists also know about the Stargate program but because of the secrecy don't realize other people there know. I imagine most of them have worked with research that originated from the Stargate Program but don't directly know about it, after all these are well known scientists that publish a lot so they're not directly part of the secrecy. I still like to think there's at least a few people there that also know about the Gate but don't realize McKay is also a part of it. Imagine like an Alpha Site scientist and an Area 51 scientist (one that started working there after Rodney left) being there but not realizing Rodney is assigned to that Atlantis project they keep hearing about

2023-06-24 06:32:41 +0000 UTCThe scene when keller yells at all the scientists to get along reminds me of the sg1 episode where they gate into a museum and Daniel yells at the two women that are fighting. Also if you notice keller treats rodney like shepherd does. Pushes when he needs a push but lets him be the genius he is. Its the sign of a good bond and im sure they would make an excellent couple “in the future”
