Giles, a few episodes ago told to Buffy that she was the one in charge. He kept bringing potentials to her home, seeking Buddy protection and guidance. And when she challenged his authority it’s all changes. I get Xander feelings but, just last episode he was praising Buffy in front of the potentials, talking about how much she sacrificed, dying twice to save the world (something you seem to forget yourself). And now that they’re consequences to himself, Buffy is to blame? By the way, last episode Buffy was hesitant about the preparedness of the potentials and it was Principal Wood who encouraged her to test them in battle. Others have already commented on Anya’s remarks which you seems inexplicably to agree with. In what world hasn’t demonstrated over and over again that she is worthy. To top it all Dawn kicking her sister, who literarily sacrificed her life for her existence, from her own house. Beyond infuriating. And you say that Buffy at the end is being overly dramatic???!! Willow who endangered the whole world out of grief and resentment should take a few steps back as well.
