I remember watching this when it aired. By that time we fans new this was the last episode and the mini series wasn't even a consideration. I actually winged my remote so hard at my big crt tv I cracked the screen.

2023-01-16 19:25:30 +0000 UTCI still remember the gut-punch feeling of first finding out it was cancelled and then watching the finale and everything being so great up to the last minute. As I remember it, they had a "to be continued" at the end but no hope of there being a conclusion. I was a bit involved with the petitions and letter writing campaigns. We contacted so many newspapers and TV-stations to try to drum up interest. I still remember quite a few tv-channels having little segments about the cancellation and the fight to get it renewed and a full-size ad in a newspaper. We even sent boxes of crackers to Bonnie Hammer who was head of Sci-fi channel at the time. So many great memories from those days.
