2022-09-01 09:25:29 +0000 UTCYeah you are clearly picking up on the writing and production issues severely hampering this part of the show. I do recommend looking into it when you feel you have time. Charisma Carpenter has been very open about the whole thing in recent years.

2022-09-01 08:12:35 +0000 UTCYeah, not the best episode. Wouldn't have been half as bad if they cut out the Cordelia/Connor bits. I mean she's the closest thing he has to a mom, even if accounting for his time in quartoth she's only something like 4 years older, it's still just weird. This demon is certainly one of the more intimidating foes on either show. I mean sure, Glory has him beat, but from what we've seen I'd even place him above the uber vampire or Adam. I mean he took a shotgun blast to the face, took sword and axe swings like he was a granite boulder, and crunched up Gunn's hubcap axe(RIP). I feel like even if the mayor in snake form ate him, he'd just rip his way out. Definitely way up there in durability. I do like that even despite all the differences Gunn and Wesley have had of late, Wes still carried him out of there. Little bit of their old friendship coming back.
