2022-09-25 19:17:11 +0000 UTCI came to suggest Veronica Mars as a possible Buffy replacement. There are a lot of similarities. Plucky blonde teen lead character that is tougher than she looks and quick with a quip. The jokes and sense of humor are very similar to the point that when it was on Joss Whedon told the press that Veronica Mars was his favorite show on TV at the time. And there are actually some Buffy actors that appear as guest stars. And Kristen Bell is fantastic as the titular character. It’s a lot of fun but with a serious murder mystery along side individual high school mysteries of the week.
