Ok, watched the reaction to Ep 20, thanks. Yep, Connor is here, or should I say Steven lol. I guess that's a name Holtz would pick. I agree that the whole drug thing was kind of a weird entrance for his character, but it is what it is. My guess is that Holtz came through the tear when Cordy and Groo were knocked out, he must have had a plan, to meet up if he comes through. I don't think Holtz is finished with Angel yet. My big question is how did they escape that hell dimension. Unless Connor dies, it feels like he's here to stay for a while. I don't know about Holtz, but boy he's lookin old and torn up, he must have been through hell. I wonder if Justine will meet up with Hotlz that he's back, like did Holtz tell her anything for if they ever returned?

"WE"RE THIRSTY!!!!" Yeah, The Price isn't a particularly big standout or anything, but it's OK as filler. I do have to say though, the fact that Angel is just ragdolling around Connor by the end of 20 kind of downplays that he was so dangerous that these creatures are basically trying to run away to another dimension from him. Sure, he's got some skill, and probably figured to kill them with fire, but he seems like at best he'd be a menace to them as a group. I just gotta point out though, Fred just straight up vacuumed that guy's remains up. Imagine his wife shows up looking for him? Wife "I know my husband came here, he said he was going to hire you to look for our dog, and employees from the juice bar saw you carry him in here, NOW WHERE IS HE?" Fred "He's........in the dust buster" I guess Holtz would have come through when Cordy and Groo were knocked out. The fact Connor is meeting him implies at least some of what happened was part of Holtz's plan, though he might have expected to kill Angel in that first fight, so hard to say. Definitely not a good introduction to our world though.

Just finished watching your reaction to Ep 19, let me comment on that first. Yeah, a kind of filler episode, but gearing up for "The Destroyer" and settings some seeds for future episodes. We now see where everyone is, and the stage is set, basically. Oh, and yes, Cordy's "glowing" power is part of her demon power. They did just kind of gloss over it, but that's what saved them here. Ok, on to the next one.

I agree that episode 19 was a fun filler thriller, and it felt like a lot of setup. Wesley vs the Group, Cordelia/Angel/Groo and of course the return of teen!Connor. I don't remember ep 20 being so effective, yes, they packed a lot of stuff into Connor's first day back....but it worked somehow? The acting was really good and the directing helped as well. The Lilah and Wesley scene was also top notch. Good episodes to lead us into the final two of the season, can't wait to see what you think!
