It was good seeing Jack out in the field again, felt like having the team back together again. Maybourne is always entertaining and it was nice seeing him grow as a person and care about other people and own up to his actions. While we didn’t meet Ares it was nice to hear a name that is very familiar from mythology. Other thoughts: How legal is Maybourne's stay on that planet and who on earth is aware of it at this point? Surely they couldn’t have just taken him back, he’s still a convicted felon sentenced to death. What happened to the time traveling ancient? And how could they witness an event that involves their own ship, which they would presumably be using? Were there two time ships existing at the same time that are in fact the same ship but from different points in time? This is the first time they see a ship of this kind. How does Sam know what to do to fix it? How does she know what the different parts are and what they look like? Also, why would the ship be broken? With time travel it can be from a million years ago yet still brand new or at least in good working order, as the Puddle Jumpers on Atlantis seemed to be. I liked the leather cape the first prime was wearing. I don’t think we’ve seen something like that before. Why is the Jaffa's response to seeing the ancient writing to spread out and search the area? Surely they don't read ancient, the Goa’uld don’t want them to know anything about the builders of the stargates when they’re claiming to have built them themselves. That fight between Teal'c and the first prime was indeed bad.
