Yeah. Once Davies gets back, I hope there'll be wayyy less focus on social commentary shit, and more on sci-fi aspect (so more Future and/or Past stories, rather than Present stuff), because I don't watch entertainment that reminds me of IRL shit like that, I want to watch sci-fi n shieet

2021-11-03 21:44:17 +0000 UTCAs usual Chibnal episodes always seem to play slightly better upon a second watch for me. That's just my personal take. (Probably cuz I'm always waiting for that dad joke or bludgeoning social commentary that pulls me out of the episode.) I feel that this 6 part series format could lend to his writing strengths more. I agree the on screen character dynamics felt improved and I concur on the reason for that. I like Dan too, I had a feeling I might. I love a regional language references like calling the bizzies. The four bears joke tickled me both times I've watched it too. đ€Ł Chib's attempt at humour has been issue for me previously. A lot of this worked well for me. This could be the series I needed for 13. Off to a promising start.
