I had forgotten this episode completely, don't remember it at all, so it was neat to see Jack Black, didn't expect him at all, he's definitely himself in this one :p This is an interesting episode, cause it's almost a straight-up super power like you said, like an X-men mutant or something heh. This was shot well, music was great, ending was great, though I was half expecting a surprise like the woman had powers too and was going to zap the kid when she lured him out.

Really fantastic performance in a very unique episode. Also the garage owner was played by Steve Makaj, who played Col. Makepeace in SG1
