Been so long since I saw these eps, I though Melissa was straight up dead on the spot when Krycek shot her. It was great to see Cigarette Man up against the wall for a change. Love seeing the guy stressed. And yes, Skinner is the GOAT. The guy does not take being played lightly. Also when Mulder flicks on the lights in the mine, it sounds just like a jaffa staff weapon opening up. Excellent 3 parter.

Melissa is probably the death that hit me the hardest in the show. It's just such an unlucky accident, and she seemed like a great sister. And Mrs Scully didn't deserve to go through that :(

2021-09-21 14:37:11 +0000 UTCWhat a really great 3 parter for X-Files, this is where I feel the show really grounds itself and fleshes out the storyline it's going for, I finally feel like there is now a direct path to follow, a goal, a plot to flesh out, this now feels full, and I love it. Can't wait till you see how this all develops.
