Thank you for the reaction! Whew, at first I was ready to type out the fact that you missed who Anne was, but caught your review at the end, you did catch on. I have to admit, when I first watched the episode I did not catch onto the fact it was her, took me a few times till it finally hit me, heh, so kudos for recognizing her. She was Chanterelle in "Lie to Me" and Lily in "Anne" and took the name Anne from Buffy. So it's nice seeing what became of her, she really picked herself up and is doing well now, so that's good to see. So at the end, I take the "It'll wash" comment to refer to the fact that it's literally Blood Money, both literally and metaphorically. And that line, "It'll wash" is very Joss Whedon to me, the delivery was perfect. That's his touch for sure. I think this episode is good to emphasize the bond the 3 are having without Angel, and the fact that Angel is really solo and without friends now. It shows their separation. I think we also finally learned why the law firm is so interested in Angel. He's a big player in the apocalypse, but what side he's fighting for is unknown, and they want to ensure that he is on their side, fighting on the evil side. So, the goal is to make him go dark basically. I think that's a big reveal.
