2021-09-09 12:18:59 +0000 UTCWhen you know the myths and see each of the Knights turning up it just hits so many good points. I remember Merlin was I think the next family show they aired after Robin Hood on BBC where they were trying to appeal to kids and adults, and I feel like Merlin started out v much a younger family show aimed but I think this finale shows a slight change in the drama. I'm looking forward to seeing how you enjoy the next series.

2021-08-28 12:28:52 +0000 UTCWell FINALLY!!! About time they pulled the trigger on actually paying off all these story threads. It's been incredibly frustrating seeing all the unbelievable resets. That nobody was onto Morgana(aside from Merlin) was destroying the show's credibility. But finally she's outed, and Arthur is stepping up to assume the throne. Also seeing Gwaine and Lancelot return and get knighted, along with Gwen's brother and Percival(another big name from the legends). It's like all that stagnation from the past 3 seasons was tension building up in a rubber band that just got launched this episode. Looking forward to S4

It will be interesting to see how much of a change we seen in series 4. Surely we can't just have another roll back as that will be extremely frustrating. But they aren't alluding to that, so I'm hopeful.
