Alright, can't say I was expecting any more side stories at this point. The first one was needed to settle the last remaining disputes in the group and give Katara some closure on the loss of her mother. Pretty decent episode. The second one though is one of the most meta things I've ever seen. I was actually waiting for Toph to get her comeuppance for laughing at the rest of them once her part came into the story, but the fact that she straight up loved the casting choice was something I couldn't even be mad about. Really fun way to recap the show and take shots at the characters. Also at 29:16, orgasmic sounds followed by Katara making ahegao face. The fuck Nickelodeon?! This is supposed to be a kids show๐

2021-06-10 16:27:10 +0000 UTCI think the Zuko/Katara stuff in the play was a joke on how a lot of fans were into the pairing while they clearly weren't gettign along on the show at that point. Looking forward to the last episodes! it's been great rewatching the show together.

The technique shook the Fire Nation, so they were serious about finding her and taking her out. In the process Katara and her mother got caught up in the search.
