Just for clarification (cause I'm anal about this stuff) Season 2 of X-Files takes place in 1994-1995. This particular episode would have been in January of 1995.

Always like this one. Not spectacular episode but a decent one.

I honestly have absolutely ZERO recollection of this episode. Not even a hint of a memory. Honestly I found this one rather boring. It's a competent episode, fairly original, and it's not bad, but I just wasn't into it much. Maybe I'm just tired today. Kinda meh for me

Timothy Nikiforovs

Also Peter Flemming who played agent Barrett in Wormhole X-Treme according to imdb, but I can't quite place him. He's listed as a cop in this episode.

Terry o'Quinn. Always good, always creepy.

At the risk of sounding like a creep, Scully was GLOWING this episode. I really enjoyed the mystery in this one. Classic X-Files.

The casting crossover between Stargate and The X-FIles continues! Joy Coghill was both Linda Thibedeaux here and Saroosh, the former host of Selmak, in SG-1.

So good to see Terry O'Quinn. He played Lieutenant Tillman in the episode. Chris Carter tends to resuse actors in his shows and this guy plays one of the lead characters of the sister series Millenium. It takes place in the same universe as X-Files but has a very different tone and focus for its stories.

What did I think of this episode? When it first aired and I originally watched it, I thought it was very creepy but never thought of it as an episode that really stood out as great. However, years later after some re-watches, it grew on me more and more, and now I seriously consider it one of the better episodes of the series. I think it's underrated, but also quite complex. And I'm not 100% sure if you noticed, but the image she saw in her dreams and drew on a piece of paper to show to Mulder and Scully, that was the picture on the wall in the old woman's house, when you go up the stairs. Either way, for me it's an episode that grew on me after many years. Much of this is simply a matter of taste though.

It's noticeable but nothing too bad. :)

audio got messed up so had to sync it up manually. Might be out of sync slightly at points
