Another thing is the source he's getting it from removes the subtitles because I'm assuming it's a channel from some European country and they add their own subtitles. That means whenever people are speaking in another language, Fail won't know what they're saying cause the subtitles will be removed.

I only just noticed this, but just a heads up, it seems that wherever you're sourcing your videos from has them pitched up a half step, to avoid auto copyright (or you're doing it yourself in which case, just ignore me lol). At least it is compared to the Hulu version. It's a small difference, and it really makes no difference overall, but thought I'd bring it up just so you're aware of it if you want to look into it, but in the long run, you gotta do what you gotta do to keep the reactions rolling haha!

I like this ep cause I like the ones that take place outside the SGC a lot, it's neat seeing the gate program from an outside world perspective. You are catching on that it seems so many entities outside the SGC are gaining knowledge of what's going on, this happening in the private sector is not good for keeping the secret. Already you have the NID which as was stated is a civilian operation that oversees top-secret programs. That's how these people have infiltrated their way in and learned about it, but it seems to be spreading beyond the NID now, which is not good. It was also confirmed in this episode that they are pursuing research on the Goa'uld which we don't see on the screen, it's happening off-screen somewhere else, but that official research is taking place so it's not like they just come home and forget about everything between episodes, ongoing research is being done by the SGC that we just don't see.

O'Neill getting shot really caught you off guard there. Nice reaction. Yeah this isn't one of my favourites. Some important stuff happens, some snakes show themselves, but overall it feels more like an X Files ep than a Stargate ep to me. It's not bad, just a bit on the dull side. If I'm not mistaken this is the first time they used the Riverview Sanitarium as a filming location. It shows up fairly often on the show, sometimes dressed up to the point you can barely recognize it. Pretty versatile location. Also Daniel with his "electrocuted" gag. S5 Daniel feels like he does the job for the fun of it more than anything. Most interesting thing this ep is the fact that there's a goa'uld in custody somewhere on Earth. Simmons is a snake as we know, but one wonders what he'll manage to get out of the goa'uld. Despite his questionable methods it could have some definite benefits. Nice seeing Maybourne again though. He's always on that fine line of love and hate. That whole exchange where O'Neill asks if he'll be there when he gets back, and he's like "oh yes Jack", O'Neill just knew he was bullshitting him. Hard to blame the guy for running though, he does have the death penalty on his head.
